Madhu was so happy, even if she had searched herelf, such a son in law wouldn't have been possible.

Smita's swimming classes and a freak incident when a drowning neighobur's kid  had to wait until Smita came forced Madhu to think, whether there is more to life than mundane existence....

At that very juncture, a heated argument between husband & Smita erupted.
It was Baby now or later.
Madhu took her son-in-law's side who wanted Baby sooner.

Smita felt cheated, her own mother who made her study hard & get a career, was now insisting that Smita give up her job.

Son in Law, not wanting his mother in law to suffer seeing the fights, talked openly to Madhu.
He mentioned, He didn't want Madhu to see & weep the fights between them. He wished to live separately.

Madhu, requested him to wait till Smita conceives.....

Sadly, he mentioned Smita's insistence to conceive only after 4 more year's.

Madhu lost the spirit to lead life & sadly accepted what had to happen.

They'd still be visiting during weekends, but daughter staying away crushed Madhu.
