"Okay. Sure. But one more question. Kids?"
"No."
She stopped there. Later she told me she was the loser. Not me.
"Now that's really, really a great compliment."
"I'm seriously telling you. I envy her. And I'm angry with her."
"That's great. I'm feeling honoured now, Your excellency." and bowed my head again
She laughed. I did too.
"You're very funny, Siraj."
"And you're... You're..Sh..sh...se..."
I paused and she looked at me, expecting some nice comment but I didn't say anything. She pulled my hair playfully. She was a little bit easy and friendlier now.
"You know you're actually far from what I thought when I saw you. I thought you were a very serious man. You know, you look very reserved but I can see now you're very frank and funny."
"No, you're wrong. I'm very serious, very very serious.."
She laughed.
That's the moment Vinnee woke up again and this time he straightaway resorted to crying mode.
"You stop laughing please. It looks really daunting to me but it always wakes him up..." I said.
She picked him up from the bed and tried to calm him down, but in vain.
