"We can have food here also, can't we?" She asked.
I looked outside. There were many small dhabas.

When I saw an ATM I asked the taxi driver to stop and asked her to withdraw some bills. She went in, and came out dejectedly.
Something was wrong.

"Oh. Shit."
She looked down and stood like a student who was missing her textbook at home and misleading the teacher. I suddenly felt pity.

She sounded a bit better, having done at least one thing correctly.
"You're looking like I'm your boss or something. Relax." I laughed.
I walked into the ATM and withdrew a couple of thousands with my card.

The taxi later stopped in front of a nice restaurant. I wanted to have a shower but I restricted myself to just washing my face. I then held both the child and her bag while she went to the washroom. By the time she was back, I had ordered the food.
When she came, I got up and pulled the chair for her.
She thanked me and sat down.
"I'm vegetarian." She said,
"Oh, no! You can't be."
"What? What have you ordered?"
"Chilly chicken and butter roti."
"Ayyo! I don't eat that stuff... No"
"No, we can't cancel our order. You'll have to eat.."
"Oh my God. We should ask them at least.."
"Come on. It's not Tamil Nadu."
She was quite worried. Eating chicken seemed to be the most heinous act to her at that moment. She watched horrifyingly as the waiter brought the food. She glanced at each item the waiter put on the table like that contained a live snake.
Well, the food was some paneer masala and butter roti. She looked at me and bit her lips.
"You liar!" She uttered in mock anger.
"It's a pure vegetarian restaurant, madam!" I laughed.
She smiled shyly. It was fun.
The food was awesome. We both felt our energy replenished. But she wanted to feed Vinnee as well. He was awake. I suggested she could do it in the hotel room.

Siraj is a free bird ...... he had only another day in his hand and the work for which he was at Gujurat is not yet over and Karthik will take many more days to be recovered .... Naina is a naive Indian Lady with her Indian ethics ..... Yes, it is better to end up a stretched unhappy life with a divorce ...... but is that possible with a naive lady like Naina .......?
