Hi All,
Here is the 2nd story I am starting. This is an Erotic Crime Thriller. Hope you like this. Again, I can tell you one thing, even after writing one story up to 40+ pages, I am still stumbling with writing. So, if I make any mistakes, please easy on me.
Chapter 1 - The First Night
Scene 1
The last guests had gone.
Naveen stood at the window of the hotel suite, the city of Hyderabad glittering below him like a spilled jewel box, and listened to the silence settle.
It was a living thing, that silence, it had texture, weight, the slow exhale of a day that had been building toward this moment for months.
Years, even.
He loosened his tie, then stopped, his fingers still on the knot, because he could see her reflection in the glass.
Seema.
She sat on the edge of the bed, which was enormous, and absurd, and strewn with rose petals the color of old blood.
Someone from the hotel, some unseen, efficient hand, had arranged them in the shape of a heart.
It was the kind of gesture that would have made Naveen cringe if he'd seen it earlier, if he'd had the presence of mind to notice, but now it just seemed...
right.
Everything seemed right.
She was here.
She was his.
And she was, without question, the most beautiful thing he had ever seen.
The saree was a masterpiece of crimson silk and gold zari, heavy with embroidery that caught the lamplight and threw tiny sparks across the room.
It had been made for her, not bought, not borrowed, but made, by a tailor in Varanasi who had spent three months on the embroidery alone.
The blouse was cut low on her back, and the pallu, which had slipped from her hair sometime during the long evening, lay on her shoulder like a fallen cloud.
Her arms were bare, adorned only with the traditional chudiyan, a few bangles in red and gold above her wrists and they caught the light every time she moved, which was rarely, because she was sitting very still.
Her skin was the color of warm honey, and it seemed to glow in the soft lamplight, luminous and impossibly smooth.
Naveen had noticed it the first time he met her, at a friend's Holi party, a several months back, her fingers stained pink with gulal, laughing at something he hadn't heard, and he had spent the intervening months learning its geography.
The delicate curve of her collarbone.
The soft hollow at the base of her throat where her pulse beat a quiet rhythm.
The inside of her wrist, where the skin was so fine he could see the faint blue tracery of veins beneath.
The small of her back, which he had touched only once, accidentally, when helping her into a car, and had thought about for weeks afterward.
Her hair was black and thick and fell in waves past her shoulders, and tonight it was loose, unbound from the elaborate style the stylist had spent two hours creating.
Dark curls framed her face, and some of them clung to her temples, damp with the heat of the evening.
Her eyes were large and dark and fringed with lashes that needed no enhancement, and they were fixed on her own hands, folded in her lap, as if she had never seen them before.
She wore mehndi on her hands, intricate patterns that covered her palms and climbed up her forearms, the henna dark and rich against her skin.
Someone had told him it was traditional for the bride to hide the groom's name somewhere in the design, and he had spent the entire reception trying to find it, without success.
He would find it later, he told himself.
They had time.

Seema, twenty-four years old newly married lady, and she looked like something out of a myth.
A princess from an old story, the kind where gods descended to earth and fell in love with mortals.
The kind where the mortal was so beautiful that the heavens themselves paused to watch her.
The pallu had slipped a little further, revealing the curve of her left breast, the delicate architecture of her neck.
A single strand of hair had escaped and lay against her cheek, and he wanted, God, he wanted, to cross the room and brush it away, to feel the warmth of her skin beneath his fingertips.
But he didn't move.
Because there was something in the way she sat, the stillness, the tension in her shoulders, the way her fingers were curled into her own palms, that made him pause.
She was nervous.
Of course she was nervous. He was nervous too.
This was their wedding night, the night they had been waiting for, the night that would change everything.
Both of them are new to the romantic world.
Naveen turned from the window.
"Hey," he said, softly.
She looked up.
Her eyes were large, luminous, the kind of eyes that made men write poetry and women feel inadequate.
But there was something in them tonight, a flicker, a shadow, that he couldn't name.
He crossed the room slowly, giving her time, giving her space.
He had been waiting for this night for so long, and he wanted it to be perfect.
He wanted her to feel perfect.
He sat beside her on the bed.
The mattress dipped.
She didn't pull away, but she didn't lean into him either.
She sat very still, like a deer that has heard a twig snap somewhere in the dark.
"You're beautiful," he said.
It was inadequate.
It was the truest thing he knew.
A small smile.
A tremor at the corner of her mouth.
"You've said that."
"Tonight it's a fact. Like gravity. Like the speed of light. Irrefutable."
That earned a real smile, brief, but real.
He reached for her hand.
Her fingers were cold.
He lifted them to his lips, pressed a kiss to her knuckles, then turned her hand over and kissed the soft skin of her palm.
Her breath caught, just slightly, and he felt it in his own chest like a tuning fork.
He didn't rush.

Naveen didn't rush.
He stayed where he was, sitting beside her on the edge of the bed, her hand still in his.
The bangles shifted with a small, musical sound as he turned her hand over and pressed another kiss to her palm.
Then he let go.
But he didn't move away.
He moved closer.
Slowly, so slowly that she could have stopped him at any moment, could have leaned back, could have said his name in that particular way that meant not yet, he raised his hand to her face.
His fingers hovered near her cheek, close enough that he could feel the warmth radiating from her skin, and he paused there, giving her time, giving her space, giving her the chance to pull away.
She didn't.
He touched her.
His fingertips brushed her cheekbone, feather-light, tracing the curve of it as though he were memorizing the shape of her.
Her skin was impossibly soft, softer than he had imagined, softer than silk, softer than anything he had ever felt.
It was warm, and it was real, and it was her, and he felt something inside his chest tighten and loosen at the same time, a knot he hadn't known was there coming undone.
He cupped her face in his palm.
His hand was large against her cheek, and she seemed to fit there perfectly, as though this was where his hand had always belonged, as though he had spent twenty-nine years learning the shape of things just so he could hold this one thing correctly.
He looked into her eyes.
They were dark, darker than he had ever seen them, the pupils blown wide.
There was fear there still, he could see it, a shadow at the edges, but there was something else too.
Something tentative.
Something that looked almost like trust.
"Seema," he said.
Just her name.
Just that.
She didn't speak.
But she didn't look away either.
He leaned in.
He pressed his lips to her forehead first, a soft, lingering kiss that tasted of her skin and the faint trace of sandalwood perfume.
Then her left cheek, just below her eye, where the skin was even softer.
Then her right cheek, where a faint blush was rising beneath his lips.
Then the tip of her nose, which was cool and small and impossibly endearing.
She let out a breath, a small, shaky sound that was almost a laugh.

Naveen pulled back just enough to look at her.
Her eyes were still open, watching him.
The fear was still there, but it had softened, like ice beginning to melt at the edges.
He raised his hand again.
This time, he brought his thumb to her lips.
He touched them gently, so gently, barely a brush, and felt his own breath catch in his throat.
They were impossibly soft.
Softer than her cheeks, softer than anything he had ever touched.
He traced the curve of her lower lip, the bow of her upper lip, feeling the delicate texture of them, the warmth, the faint moisture of her breath against his fingertip.
She didn't pull away.
She didn't close her eyes.
She just watched him, and he watched her, and the world outside the room ceased to exist.
He leaned in.
Slowly.
So slowly.
Giving her every chance to stop him, every moment to turn away.
His lips hovered over hers, close enough that he could feel her breath mingling with his own, close enough that he could smell the jasmine in her hair and the faint sweetness of the mehndi on her hands.
And then he kissed her.
It was barely a kiss, just the lightest touch of his lips against hers, a question more than a statement.
Her lips were warm, impossibly soft, and they tasted faintly of the honeyed tea she had drunk at the reception and something else, something that was just her.
His eyes closed without meaning to, and he felt the world narrow to this single point of contact, this one perfect moment.
It was his first kiss.
He had never kissed a woman before, not like this, not with his heart in his throat and his future in his hands.
He had waited twenty-nine years for this moment, and now that it was here, it was nothing like he had imagined.
It was better.
It was terrifying.
It was everything.
He pulled back after a moment, just a fraction of an inch, and opened his eyes.
Hers were still open.
Watching him.

He searched her face for a sign, for fear, for hesitation, for anything that would tell him to stop.
But all he saw was her, looking back at him with an expression he couldn't quite read.
Her lips were slightly parted.
Her cheeks were flushed.
And in her eyes, beneath the fear, beneath the uncertainty, there was something that looked almost like wonder.
He kissed her again.
Still gentle.
Still careful.
But a little deeper this time, a little longer, and he felt her lips soften against his, felt her breath warm his mouth, felt something shift in the space between them, a door opening, a wall coming down, a beginning.
When he pulled back, she was crying.
The tears slid down her cheeks, silent and slow, and he felt his heart clench with fear.
Had he done something wrong? Had he pushed too far? But before he could speak, before he could pull away and apologize, she did something that surprised them both.
She smiled.
It was her first kiss.
She read about this in many stories, she has seen this in several movies, but this is her first experience of that sweet first kiss.
It was a small smile, a fragile thing, trembling at the edges.
But it was real.
And in that moment, Naveen felt something open up inside him, something vast and terrifying and beautiful, and he knew, with a certainty that went beyond words, beyond logic, beyond anything he had ever known, that he would spend the rest of his life trying to make her smile like that.
He doesn’t want to rush.
That was the thing about Naveen, he had never been a man who rushed.
He had waited twenty-nine years for the right woman, and when he found her, at a friend's Holi party, several months back, he lost himself in her beauty, he had waited again.
Waited for her to see him.
Waited for her to trust him.
Waited through the long, chaste courtship their families had approved, through the engagement, through the endless months of wedding preparation.
He was a patient man.
Patience was his love language.
So now, on their wedding night, in this room that smelled of jasmine and rose and the faint, sharp tang of champagne, he did not rush.
He kissed her hand again.
Then her wrist.
Then the inside of her elbow, where the skin was impossibly soft, where he could feel her pulse beating a quick, nervous rhythm.
She closed her eyes.

"Is this okay?" Naveen whispered.
She nodded.
He didn't speak.
He didn't need to.
He just opened his arms, and she came into them.
She fit against him perfectly, her head tucked beneath his chin, her body soft and warm against his chest.
The silk of her saree whispered against his trousers, and the bangles on her wrists pressed small, cool circles into his back as she raised her hands to rest them there.
He could feel her heartbeat, a quick, fluttering thing, and beneath it, the slow rhythm of her breathing beginning to steady.
He held her.
He held her the way a man holds something precious, something he has waited for and cannot quite believe is his.
His arms wrapped around her, one hand resting on the small of her back, that place he had touched only once before, accidentally, and thought about for weeks, and the other cradling the back of her head, his fingers tangling gently in her hair.
He could smell the jasmine oil, the henna, the faint salt of her tears, and beneath all of it, something warm and unmistakably her.
Minutes passed.
He didn't count them.
He didn't care.
The city hummed beyond the windows, the hotel settled into its nighttime quiet, and they stood there, wrapped in each other, and for a little while, the world was very small and very kind.
He felt her shoulders relax, one degree at a time.
He felt her hands unclench against his back, her fingers spreading flat against the fabric of his shirt.
He felt her exhale, long and slow, as though she had been holding her breath for years and had finally, finally let it go.
He pressed a kiss to the top of her head.
She didn't pull away.
After a long moment, a moment that felt both endless and too short, he drew back just enough to look at her.
Her eyes were still damp, but the fear had faded, replaced by something softer.
Something that looked almost like trust.
"Can I, " he started, then stopped.
He didn't want to ruin this.
He didn't want to push too far, too fast.
But he also didn't want to stop, not when she was looking at him like that, not when she was still in his arms, not when the night was still young and they had so much time.
She nodded.

She nodded.
Just once.
Just enough.
He reached for the pallu first.
It had slipped from her hair long ago and now hung loose over her left shoulder, a length of crimson silk embroidered with gold zari that cascaded down her arm and pooled at her waist.
He took the edge of it between his fingers, carefully, slowly, and drew it away from her.
The fabric whispered as it slid across her skin, and she shivered, a small, involuntary movement that he felt more than saw.
He let it fall to the floor, a river of red and gold at their feet.
She stood before him in the blouse and the saree skirt.
The blouse was cut low on her back, and he could see the curve of her spine, the delicate architecture of her shoulder blades, the faint dimples at the base of her back that he had somehow never noticed before and now could not stop noticing.
The fabric was crimson silk, heavy with embroidery, and it clung to her in ways that made his mouth go dry.
The saree skirt wrapped around her hips, pleated and elegant, and above it, her bare midriff, the soft curve of her stomach, the gentle hollow of her navel, the faint line of dark hair that disappeared beneath the waistband of the skirt.
He stepped back, just a little, just enough, and looked at her.
Really looked.
She was standing in the soft lamplight, her hair loose and tumbling around her shoulders, her skin glowing like warm honey, the bangles on her wrists catching the light with every small movement she made.
The mehndi on her hands was dark and intricate, and he could see now that it climbed up her forearms, disappearing beneath the short sleeves of her blouse.
Her lips were slightly parted, still pink from his kiss, and her eyes, those impossibly large, impossibly dark eyes, were fixed on him, watching, waiting, trusting.
She was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen.
He had thought that earlier, standing by the window, watching her reflection.
He had thought it at the wedding, when she had walked toward him through a shower of rose petals, her father's hand trembling on her arm.
He had thought it the first time he saw her, three years ago, her fingers stained pink with gulal, laughing at something he hadn't heard.

But Naveen had never thought it the way he thought it now, standing this close to her, in this room, on this night, with the knowledge that she was his and he was hers and nothing would ever be the same again.
"You're perfect," he said.
The words came out before he could stop them, quiet and rough, and he felt his own face flush because they sounded so inadequate, so small, compared to what he actually meant.
She didn't laugh.
She didn't look away.
She just stood there, letting him look, letting him see, and in her eyes, the fear was gone.
He stepped forward again.
"May I?" he asked, his fingers hovering near the hooks at the back of her blouse.
"May I see you?"
She hesitated.
It was brief, just a flicker, just a moment, but he caught it.
The shadow that crossed her face, the tension that returned to her shoulders.
He started to pull back, started to tell her it was okay, they didn't have to, they could wait.
But then she nodded.
"Yes," she whispered.
"Yes."
He reached for the first hook.
His fingers, which could calibrate a turbine engine to within a tenth of a millimeter, fumbled like a collegeboy's.
The hook was impossibly small, and his hands were suddenly clumsy, and he could feel his own heartbeat in his throat, loud and insistent.
He worked the first hook free, then the second, then the third, and with each one, the blouse loosened a little more, and he could see a little more of her, the curve of her spine, the soft skin of her back, the faint line where her tan ended and her natural color began.
She stood very still.
Her breathing was shallow but steady.
And as he worked, she closed her eyes.
He kept going.
Hook after hook after hook.
The fabric parted, inch by inch, and he could see the white bra beneath, simple, delicate, the kind of thing that was never meant to be seen and yet somehow more intimate than anything he had ever encountered.
He could see the strap on her shoulder, the delicate line of it against her skin.
He could see the clasp at the center of her back, small and silver and waiting.
He could see the way her back curved, the way her waist narrowed, the way her body was made of soft lines and gentle curves that seemed designed specifically to drive him mad.
The last hook gave way.

The blouse loosened completely, and he placed his hands on her shoulders, warm against the silk of her skin, and eased it down.
It slid from her arms, from her wrists, and joined the pallu on the floor.
She stood before him in the white bra and the crimson saree skirt.
He turned her gently to face him.
Her eyes were still closed.
"Seema," he said.
She opened them.
He didn't move.
Not at first.
He just looked at her, really looked, standing there in the white bra and the crimson saree skirt, her hair loose and tumbling around her shoulders, her skin glowing in the lamplight, her eyes fixed on his.
"Can I, " he started, then stopped.
His voice was rough, uncertain.
He didn't want to rush.
He didn't want to break this spell.
But he also couldn't stop looking at her, couldn't stop wanting to see more, to know more, to hold more of her.
She nodded.
Just once.
He reached for the clasp of her bra.
His fingers found it, small and silver and impossibly delicate, and he paused there, feeling the warmth of her skin beneath his fingertips.
She shivered, a small, involuntary movement, and he felt it travel through him like a current.
He worked the clasp free, slowly, carefully, and the straps loosened.
The bra slid from her shoulders, down her arms, and she let it fall.
She stood before him, bare from the waist up, and he forgot how to breathe.
Her breasts were small and full, the color of warm honey, with dark nipples that tightened in the cool air of the room.
Her skin was impossibly smooth, unmarked except for a small mole near her left collarbone and another just beneath her right breast, and he wanted, God, he wanted, to touch every inch of her, to memorize every detail, to learn her body the way he had learned her face.
"You're beautiful," he whispered.
He had said it before, but this time it meant something different.
This time it meant I see you.
All of you.
And I want all of you.
She didn't speak.
Her arms hung at her sides, and her eyes were still open, still watching him, and there was fear there, he could see it, a shadow at the edges, but there was something else too.
Something that looked like surrender.

Naveen stepped closer.
He pressed his lips to her forehead first, then her temple, then the soft skin just below her ear.
He kissed his way down her neck, feeling her pulse beat against his lips, and then lower, across her collarbone, into the hollow of her throat, down the slope of her shoulder.
Her skin tasted of salt and jasmine and something warm and faintly sweet, and he wanted to keep kissing her forever, wanted to map every inch of her with his mouth.
He kissed her left breast, then her right, feeling the soft weight of them against his lips, the way her nipples hardened at his touch.
She let out a small breath, almost a gasp, almost a sigh, and he felt her hands come up to rest on his shoulders, her fingers gripping him lightly, as though she needed something to hold on to.
He kissed lower.
Down her stomach, across the soft curve of her belly, stopping at the waistband of her saree skirt.
He looked up at her, asking permission without words, and she nodded again, her eyes half-closed now, her lips slightly parted.
He found the edge of the saree, the place where the fabric was tucked in, the neat pleats secured at her waist, and he pulled, slowly, carefully.
The silk whispered against her skin as it came loose, and the skirt fell, pooling around her feet.
She stood before him completely bare.
She never stood like this before anyone like.
He had never seen anything so beautiful in his life.
He never seen any woman like this in his entire life.
Her legs were long and slender, her hips gently curved, the soft triangle of dark hair at the apex of her thighs a secret he had never dared to imagine.
Her body was a series of soft lines and warm tones that seemed to glow in the lamplight, and the mehndi on her hands seemed darker now against her bare skin, and the bangles on her wrists caught the light with every small movement she made.
She was trembling, just slightly, just enough for him to notice, but she didn't pull away.
She didn't cover herself, but her face turned red with shy.
He is her husband, but still, she fell the feminine shy that bring her eyes down.
But still she just stood there, letting him look, letting him see.
His gaze drifted lower, to the place he had only ever imagined.
The dark hair was soft, sparse, framing the delicate folds beneath.
He could see the slight parting of her lips, the hint of pink within, a glistening moisture that caught the dim light.
It was the most intimate, most vulnerable part of her, and it was perfect, a small, tight bud waiting to be discovered.

Naveen could not wait any longer looking at the most beautiful girl, he ever seen in his entire life, completely naked in front of him.
He reached for his own clothes.
He unbuttoned his shirt, slowly, his eyes never leaving hers.
He let it fall to the floor, then reached for his belt, then his trousers.
He stood before her in his boxers, and he saw her eyes flicker down, just for a moment, and back up to his face.
He hooked his thumbs into the waistband and pushed them down.
His cock sprang free, hard and thick, curving slightly upwards from the dark nest of hair at his base.
Her breath caught in a sharp, audible gasp.
Her eyes widened, locked on the sight of him.
A flush, deeper than before, spread from her chest up her neck, staining her cheeks.
She had never seen a man like this, in the flesh, hard and ready for her.
The sheer size, the rigid potency of him, was both terrifying and mesmerizing.
Her innocence was written all over her face, a mix of shock and a dawning, primal understanding.
He stepped closer.
He reached for her, his hands finding her waist, her skin warm and impossibly soft beneath his palms.
He leaned in, pressed his lips to her neck, felt her pulse beating quick and light against his mouth.
His hand slid from her waist down over the gentle swell of her hip, tracing the curve of her thigh.
His fingers ventured into the warm, secret space between her legs.
She tensed, a small whimper escaping her lips as he touched her there for the first time.
He felt the incredible softness of her folds, the heat radiating from her core.
He explored her gently, his fingertips tracing the delicate edges, feeling the slick, welcoming wetness that bloomed at his touch.
He circled the tiny, sensitive nub at the top of her slit, and she jolted, a soft cry on her lips as a wave of intense pleasure shot through her.
He slowly opened her legs, guiding her to lie back on the bed.
He knelt between her thighs, his gaze fixed on the beautiful, untouched sight of her.
He positioned himself at the entrance of her pussy.
