50 Cars Gutted in Massive Fire at Aero India Venue in Bengaluru

Over 50 cars have been gutted in a massive fire that has broken out at the venue for Aero India 2019 in Bengaluru’s Yelahanka on Saturday, 23 February.


The fire continues to spread at the parking lot at the moment.
Apart from the observation chopper, this has brought all other flying operations to a halt. The spot where the blaze rages on is just a few kilometres from the location where the air show is being held.

While the cause of the fire is not yet known, The News Minute reported that it could have been a lit cigarette that was thrown into the grass which may have started the fire.
