The Final Catch ,  The Bedroom

She guided him to the bedroom door.

"It's just through here," she whispered.

She opened the door and led him inside.

The air was different here, warmer, closer, thick with her scent.

He heard her move to the bed, felt the softness of the mattress as she sat down.

"Find me," she whispered.

"One last time."

He moved toward her voice, his hands reaching out.

They found her, her shoulders, the silk of her saree, and he pulled her toward him.

"I caught you," he said.

"Yes." She pulled him down to her.

"And now I'm yours."

His hands found the edge of her saree.

He pulled it gently, the silk sliding away from her skin like water, like a sigh, like the last barrier between them falling away.

"Beautiful," he breathed.

"You can't see me."

"I don't need to.

I can feel you.

I can taste you.

I can hear you.

That's enough."

His hands found her bare skin.

Her waist first, narrow and warm, the muscles trembling beneath his palms.

Then her hips, round and full, made to be held.

Then lower, to her ass, and he cupped her again, this time without the silk, skin against skin.

She was softer than he'd imagined.

Warmer.

More real.

His hands moved up her body, finding her breasts.

They were full and heavy in his palms, her nipples hard against his fingers.

He traced the underside of each breast, felt the weight of them, the warmth of them, the way she arched into his touch.

She was warm and soft and trembling.

"You're so beautiful," he said.

"Every inch of you."

"Rohan, "

"I love you.

I've loved you since the first time I saw you."

"I love you too.

I love you so much."

He kissed her, deep and slow.

His hands explored her body, learning every curve, every soft place.

The dip of her waist.

The swell of her hips.

The impossible softness of her thighs.
