Okay.. Here is my perspective...

I understand all this play by Rajiv was to push Gowtham to Vidya and make him fall for her.

Then only Rajiv can give pain to him by making both Vidya and Malli chase Gowtham away.

Vidya is Rajiv's weapon. Vidya won't deceit rajiv for Gowthams love.
Malli already in place to prove that she is only for Rajiv. He already told her there will be situation for her to prove her love.

He will use these two to make Gowtham learn his lesson..

Here Rajiv is not confronting malli and Gowtham through words.. He is playing his revenge game..

End of the day. Gowtham will be left with nothing..
