I get the sense that he is more drawn to the emotional fallout of cheating than to plotting calculated retaliation. Perhaps he is trying to make a point against illicit relationships, especially when so many writers on Xossipy tend to glorify or boast about them.

What stands out is that, in most cheating stories, we rarely get to understand the perspective of the person being betrayed. The focus is usually on the affair itself, while the pain, humiliation, confusion, and emotional damage suffered by the cheated partner are often overlooked.

I agree with what you’re saying. The pain of the person who experiences betrayal is rarely explored here.

In Heygi Bro’s stories, the husbands who are betrayed often fail to give their wives the love, affection, intimacy, or respect they deserve. That emotional neglect creates a situation where the wife becomes vulnerable to another relationship.

Then, when the husband himself experiences betrayal, it becomes a turning point for him. The betrayal forces him to look back at his own behavior and realize the mistakes he made in his marriage. Once he understands how much he had neglected his wife, he begins to appreciate her and love her more deeply.

So, in a way, the betrayal becomes the cause of his self-realization and emotional transformation. That may be why the revenge element in Heygi Bro’s stories is usually not very strong. His focus seems to be less on making the husband take revenge and more on showing how the betrayal changes him and makes him understand his own mistakes.
