The College Room, Latha's Seduction
The room was thick and warm, heavy with the scent of their tangled passion, sweat and skin and the sweet, musky perfume of release.
Neetu lay sprawled across the narrow cot, her body still flushed and trembling from the aftershocks of what they'd just shared, her chest rising and falling in ragged, uneven gasps.
Her dark hair was fanned out across the thin pillow, and her skin glistened with a fine sheen of perspiration in the dim, golden light filtering through the dusty window.
Rohan held her close, one arm dbangd possessively over her waist, his fingers tracing lazy, absent patterns on the damp curve of her hip.
But his mind was already wandering, already reaching beyond the four walls of this cramped, secret space.
He know Latha is looking at them through the window.
A small, white face with wide, startled eyes, peering through the gap in the curtains like a frightened woodland creature caught in the beam of a hunter's torch.
"Neetu," he murmured, his voice soft but firm. "Stay here. Don't move."
"Rohan, what are you going to do? " Her eyes fluttered open, dazed and confused.
"Trust me." He pressed a quick, silencing kiss to her forehead, then rose from the sofa, adjusting his clothes with practiced ease.
His shirt was rumpled, his trousers still undone, but he didn't care. He had to see. He had to know.
He walked to the door, his footsteps silent on the worn tiles, and opened it slowly, deliberately.
There, frozen in the dim corridor like a deer caught in headlights, stood Latha.
She was tiny, barely five feet one, a delicate, fragile thing that seemed almost too small for this world.
Her frame was slender and fine-boned, with the kind of narrow, graceful shoulders that seemed to curve inward like a bird's wings.
Her skin was pale, almost translucent in the dim light filtering through the hallway window, with a flawless, porcelain quality that made her look impossibly young and impossibly pure.
