Misc. Erotica Man of the House
#1
I have been living at my uncle’s (Chacha ji's) house with his family for a very long time now… and I still live here. Why? Well, you’ll find that out at the end of the story. Actually, I got admission to a local college here for my Master's. When I initially thought of renting a place somewhere else, my chacha got really angry. He even told my dad,  in strict words, that as long as he or his family is in this city, there’s absolutely no need for me to rent a room.

I was very happy, and so were my parents. My dad felt so proud of his younger brother. Now and then, he would tell my mom and me, "Look, this is what values (sanskar) look like. Thinking about doing anything for your family and elder brother—not everyone has these values, and not everyone gets a brother like him."

To repay uncle, my dad gave me endless advice before I left. Things like, "Take care of chacha and his family according to your capability, serve him, help your chachi (aunt) from time to time, don't trouble their kids, don't bother them," and so on.

Keeping all these pieces of advice from my parents firmly in mind, I arrived at Chacha ji’s place one day.

However, one thing was crystal clear—Chachi wasn't very happy. She didn't say anything to my face, but her body language made it obvious that, whether anything else happened or not, she was definitely not happy about an extra member moving into the house.

I got a lot of love and warmth from chacha and both the kids, but not so much from chachi.

Chachi would reply to almost everything I said in just four words: "Yes", "Okay", "Good", "Hmm".

Because of my uncle, she didn't show her disapproval openly and behaved properly, but in a very subtle way, she made it clear that while I had entered the house, there was absolutely no 'welcome' for me in her heart.

Anyway, I mostly kept to my uncle because, technically, I had come to his house, and he is the Man, the head of the house. So,  except for him (Chacha), what anyone else thought or how they felt shouldn't have really mattered to me.

But slowly but surely, I started making a place in Chachi’s heart, too. No, I didn't do it just for the sake of it, nor did I desperately try. I just used to spend time with the kids and Chacha ji, whether it was morning or evening. The kids grew very fond of me. Whether they were at home or leaving for college, playing or doing homework, they always wanted me around. And since I also took good care of them, their homework started getting done on time, and their handwriting had also improved a lot. Their teachers even praised this during the parent-teacher meetings with Chacha and Chachi.

Yes, all of this didn't happen in just two to three days or a week. It took time. Around three months, give or take a few days.

Plus, I also used to help out with various household chores.

Because of all these reasons, Chachi’s attitude towards me started softening.

Two years passed like this…

I had scored really good marks in my college exams so far. I had also started giving tuitions to boys and girls in the neighborhood, and after studying with me, their exam results were also coming out great. Alongside, I had formed a small friend circle, and because of a few of my good qualities, everyone became a big fan of mine. Chacha and Chachi regularly got updates about all this. Chacha would feel very proud, but as for Chachi... God knows!

Despite all this, I knew very well that I got a place in this house only because of Chacha. Any mistake from my side, knowingly or unknowingly, could create bitterness in Chachi's mind towards me. Two years is not a short time, but from a career perspective, I wasn't very secure yet. Nowadays, just graduating from college is no guarantee of getting a job… Not even a Master’s degree could help, forget graduation. Take Nishant from my group, for instance. His dad has just about a year left before retirement. His younger brother is still studying. Just a while ago, his elder sister got married. In an attempt to get her married into an upper-middle-class family, his dad had to take loans from 2-3 different places. That loan isn't fully paid off yet; it's being paid back bit by bit. Now, Nishant's parents have expectations from him too. That's why the poor guy has been running around for the past four months looking for a job. I don't know how good or bad he was at studies, but he himself keeps saying,

"I never really enjoyed studying."

Now, since some responsibilities were falling on him too, he did an ADCA course from a computer coaching centre. Even in that, he focused specifically on DTP. Now, wherever he applies for a job, either there are no vacancies, or he gets unsolicited advice to be proficient in two more languages besides English and Hindi typing. Sometimes they demand a higher Words Per Minute (WPM) speed, other times they want someone who knows Tally… and even if you know Tally, they put a condition of having a commerce background!

I also have to face exactly these kinds of problems. Currently, I don't need a full-time job, but if the situation ever comes up where I have to do a part-time job, what will my situation be like? Just thinking about this often scares me a lot.
