I realised that I was still having the wine in my hand.
Anil: Go on, Kalpana. Take a sip. You could have it more only if you like it.
Me: Ok. ( I took a sip and it was indeed a good taste. Something that my palette has not encountered before and I wanted to try some more. I took another sip.)
Anil: There you go. I know you’d like it definitely. Finish it then. Yeah?
I smiled and continued to sip. When I tasted it, Anita appeared with 2 trays of hot food.
Anil: A good wine should always be accompanied by a good food. Let’s eat.
The smell of the food was so good, only then did I realise how hungry I was. I took the food from Anita without any questions. We had the food with some initial chit chat from Anil until Anita switched on a latest released regional movie, which I was planning to watch anyway. So I was more than happy to watch the movie and enjoy the meal with that fantastic wine supplement. The taste of which seems to be getting better by the sip.
The meal was going on for a little while, and Anita was judiciously going through her air-hostess routine, offering us refills. In fact, before I could finish the meal, I had 2 more refills of the wine. I realised that I was talking louder than usual and my head was feeling somewhat heavy, but nice. Anita left the glasses with us and took the trays away from us with that trademark infectious smile. When I smiled back at her, she touched my shoulder gently, just as she did with Anil and said.
Anil: I hope the meal was nice, Just enjoy the movie, I shall bring another refill for you, and then perhaps some coffee.
I thought of saying No, as I had already started feeling the effect of it, but it was too nice to say no to and besides it would be good to watch the rest of the movie with that.
While I was busy watching the movie sipping the 3rd glass, Anita had dimmed the cabin light a lot more shut the windows to create the ambience.
The semi-darkness was giving a great effect. Anita was standing right behind me. After a few more minutes, she leaned forward closer to me.
Anita: Now, just relax madam, and be a bit more comfortable (and she reclined my seat far back.)
Me: Thank you.
I was nearly lying down as the seat has reclined to a bed. It was good arrangement, that there was a TV hanging from the ceiling and we could see the movie still. Anil, beside me, has reclined back too, but not that far. His was still a seat and if he turned, he could see me lying down completely. My feet now rested on the seat / bed now fully and I realised that I was completely lying down, but it felt good.
