Having settled in the couch, I ripped open the envelope as my patience eroded when I attempted to open it in the proper way wasting valuable seconds in the process. There they were. You seemed to be not as radiant as you were a few minutes ago. He seemed to have caught on quickly. ‘Madam, I understand. This happens with conventional photography all the time. That was the main reason why I was prompting Ravi to switch over to the digital. See, this could have been avoided. He could have controlled the lighting better, especially in the sunrise / sunset situations’ he paused. I jolted thinking how could he have known? Has he seen those pictures while printing? Anyway, he still wasn’t committal. He might have been referring to the normal photographic rules. He was asking me, ‘Madam is that your picture that he took and didn’t turn out up to the mark? Although it is hard to believe as any kind of crappy lighting and dumb camera should freeze your image beautiful as you are beautiful as it is’. Blushing and smiling a bit I nodded ‘yes they were pictures of me that didn’t come out well.’ and finished the sentence with a tinge of sadness. ‘Oh, let’s see what went wrong. Show me madam’, with that he took the envelope lying on the table with pictures on it. Before I could tell him anything he saw those sunset shots as they were the ones I was seeing at the very end. His eyebrows went up immediately as he was openly staring at my naked shoulder and my tits hiding behind the semi transparent saree.
