I really admire the dedication you’ve shown in this story—your attention to detail and the way you build suspense is impressive.
right from the start up to this point,,,the storyline is so engaging!
No intention to discourage u but...one part that felt a bit off, though, was the romantic and emotional drama angle with the mom and the thief... nothing else.
If she did it to protect her family, then fair enough.
Overall, story has amazing potential, and I’m loving every bit of it

First of all thanks dude for reading it in such detail. Honestly, comments like this do fulfil all the hard work.

Yes chnna's mom on one half was doing all this to protect her son. She didn't wanted that thief to go near her son's room that's why she kept him occupied. One detail which i gave but wasn't caught by many was, Chinna's mom didn't tell her real name to that thief. Her name is Jyoti not shanti. This was a reference to indicate that she is indeed doing all this to protect her son which that thief threatened to hurt.

Next, Yes, After a while she did fall for his Alpha tricks and lies. As she is naïve, which that thief did understood and used it to his advantage. From first thief wanted love and care from her to continue their relation further. So, he began worshipping her and showered her with love. He used many tricks on her which she never dreamed of and thus he became her Dream lover. Slowly that converted to her crush. Actually She is attracted to thief.
As mentioned in story, thief is most skilful in sex. He knows how to seduce a woman with all his dirty tricks. On one side he alienated her from husband by making him villain and showing as if he doesn't care about his wife and the thief is sole care taker of her.
On other hand he brought her to a dreamland and made her Queen.
Vinay always treated her as slut in bed kind of in a aggressive way. But when she got told and treated like a Queen. She started to believe herself as Queen and the thief as King.
In last, tears were a emotion of her failing Queen dreamland as she now has to return to reality.

Thanks dude, Your comment made my day! Namaskar Namaskar

...And in the end, in this way the theif underwent a change of heart and bid a tearful farewell to Shanti/Jyoti.

But this chapter is not over yet....

What he doesn’t know is that fate has already set a far darker course for him, one he can’t escape.

Just a request from my side,

Please let me know, how is the story going?

Try to give your opinion on this thread, anything positive or negative doesn't matter.

To be Frank not enjoying mother assault angle. Instead it should have kid enjoying with Latha aunty at least.

It's getting little derogatory unless people are liking it.

Chapter – 4

 part – 2

After a while I returned to our villa limping. I was successful in destroying all the proofs. But I was injured so I took a warm bath to recognise and accept this new me. While bathing I saw my reflection in the mirror. I did recognize the person staring back at me. My hair clung to my forehead, damp and heavy, framing a face that bore witness to something dark and sinister. I squinted through the haze of fog and steam, realizing that it wasn’t just water running down my body. It was blood—deep crimson, mixing with the clear water, creating a disturbing swirl that spiralled down the drain in an almost artistic flow.

But what was more unsettling than the sight of my blood was the grin plastered across my face. It stretched wide, revealing teeth that shone like a predator’s. I was in pain; I could feel it lacing through my body, sharp and relentless. Yet, in that moment, joy flickered behind my eyes, transforming my expression into something eerily jubilant.

Throughout my life, I have often been dismissed as just a child, weak and unformed, by those who I loved the most. The struggles I have faced have, in many ways, forged me. Each challenge, each setback, has been a lesson, pushing me to rise and adapt, to learn and to fight.

It's in this fierce protection that I find my identity forming; no longer just a boy, but a powerful man with a responsibility to those he loves. The weight of expectation may be heavy, but it's a weight I willingly carry, acknowledging that I am not merely a product of my upbringing, but a testament to the trials that have shaped me. I will embrace this journey that took my innocence from me but in return it showed harsh reality of world.

With all these injuries surprisingly, I felt most lively and happy than ever in my life. God, Grandfather was right. I should have started this earlier but anyways it’s not too late though. Hahahaha!

After applying Dettol and medic on the wounds, I finally drifted to sleep.

I woke up due to chanting and whispering noises as if many peoples had gathered together for a discussion. Slowly I woke up from bed and felt soreness from multiple wounds. I dragged myself to bathroom and cleaned my face and got freshen up. Then again, I applied medicine and wore some full cloths to hide my wounds from the world and walked out.

As I approached living hall there wasn’t anyone and there weren’t any chairs left. Then I slowly peeked inside my parents’ bedroom which was open. I saw my mother sleeping and covered half her body in blanket. I felt happy that there weren’t any straps and she had changed her last night clothes that shows my dad did come back after me. Yeah, had to bring him back for my mom. They both needed each other. Good!!!

Now I moved out and stood near the gateway. I saw my dad, aunty and Shetty sir were sitting on chair and listening to the staff team from the villa who went on explaining about my last night deeds.

Dad - okay I understood that when you arrived at that point a ghost was attacking a man.

Staff1- No sir I thought it was a ghost but in reality, it was something of a evil creature like a monster.

Sir – What?!

Dad - Rahul, don’t interrupt him let him tell the whole part. I’m so concerned about their safety promises.

Staff 2 - Sir we have the best safety premises. It’s very safe here, you don’t have to worry about anything.

Dad - shut up!!! Just shut up!!! Someone threw a stone to our window. I had to come rushing for my family. Do you know what that means to a father, to a husband? Huh!

Aunty - Aaiioo Bawa came down!!!

Dad - what calm down Latha. They have no idea who threw a stone, what if that someone threw something more lethal to my son’s window. My kid had no idea about it!!

Staff 2 - sir we are sorry for that!! We are working on that. Why to unnecessarily think about something which didn’t happen.

Dad - oh really if anything had happened to my son, I promise you I would have burned you all alive.

Staff 2 - sir are you, okay? Did you sustain any injuries?

Dad - It’s not about me, it’s about my son. The matter is only about my son. Do you understand??!!

Staff2 - yes sir surely, we will look after that!! Someone must have pranked it! Don’t worry everything is safe here.

Sir - wait…wait we want to know everything that happened early morning. Tell us truth that would show your security level.

Staff 2 - sure sir, that’s why we’re here to assure our guests that everything is fine. security officer had taken everything under control. They itself have said, there’s nothing to worry about.

Staff1 – But there were much darker incident happening yesterday night.

Aunty – So, was there any theft or murder? What darker incident happened? This is getting so scary!!!

Staff 2 - No madam it was just a brawl between two men. Nothing much to worry about.

Sir – Seems like that guy was present there so he might say it clearly!!

Dad – That guy is useless; he keeps saying some unnatural force and monster. what all he keeps saying?!!

Staff 1 - yes sir believe me that wasn’t any men it maybe a ghost or a monster.

Sir - shhhh what are you saying ghost, monster in these modern times? All this doesn’t exist. Those must be two men fighting with each other.

Staff2 – I told nah sir, there’s nothing to worry about. Don’t listen to his dreamland stories. Punit is just making some stories by himself to get some fame.

Staff 1 - No sir I swear believe me. At first, I thought it was a man but when I went to stop him, it looked at me and I could tell clearly it was a young boy must be a teenager.

Aunty - So man and a teenager were fighting, is this is what happened??!! That man must have beaten that teen!!! Is that boy alright?!

Staff 1 – That’s the crazy part madam. That boy beat the life out of the that man.

Aunty – What?! A teenager beat down a full-grown adult man! This can’t be true!

Sir – Maybe that man was tiny or weak kind of?!

Dad – No Rahul, it was a big guy. I saw few photos of his body while being taken on ambulance.

Staff 1- yes sir, that’s why I became sure that it wasn’t any human. It looked like a teen but his whole body was deformed. It had fangs or tusks of some sort, lupine ears, red bloodshot eyes, claw hands, and an aggressive temperament. It’s appearance itself suggested its nature of destructive and contained inhuman strength.

Aunty – AIOO!! What was that thing human or monster?!! Oh Lord!!! What’s all is happening?!!

Staff1 – It wasn’t any human madam. It was a monster who has awakened for a purpose. Now time will tell who will be its next prey.

Staff2 – Punith! Stop scaring our guests.

Staff1 – I was just warning them!

(Staff2 silently whispering angrily on staff1 ear)

Aunty – Hey! Let him tell the truth!

Dad – HM! Latha, why?! Just leave it!

Aunty – Bawa! Something attacked a person in our building. Don’t you think I will be scared?

Sir – All this sounds really weird but you said, you saw that attacker’s face?

Staff1 – Yes sir, but….

Dad – Wait! That’s it! I mean you saw that culprit face. So, security officer can take a forensic report from you and draw a sketch of it.

Sir – Wow Anna! What a presence of mind you got. Hey, mm…You’re…. rrrr…Punit, right?

Staff1 – Y…yes sir.

Sir – Didn’t security officer interrogate you? The way you’re describing. I’m definitely sure you can help draw a sketch of that culprit.

Staff1 – Yes sir I did talk with security officer.

Dad – Did forensic draw a sketch of it.

Staff1 – mmhh…. ehh…errr…s..sir

Staff2 – Leave it sir! You all are pretty safe here. I will bring your order. Come Punit let’s go, you take leave for few days.

Aunty – Wait! Don’t leave like that. I’m scared of all this!

Dad – Hey! What do you think you’re doing? Do we all look like a fool? Last night there was an attempt of murder and staff members are trying to hide it. Is that it?

Staff2 – No sir!

Dad – What No? Today morning your manager said they will send staff who will explain whole matter to us. We have paid thousands and thousands here. While you ‘all dumb bastard can’t even protect us. So, what are we paying for such a high price? If you ‘all wants to hide things well then give our money back, I don’t want to live in a place where we not safe. Honestly, a jungle safari would be much better because they are honest.

Staff2 – Please sir, calm down. I was stopping Punit from saying everything because of you all only. You’re safe here, it’s just I didn’t want Punit’s dreamland story to scare you.

Sir – That’s okay with me. You let him speak. Whatever it may be, we want to hear it all.

(They both looked at each other for a while)

Staff1 – Sir, I will tell everything of what I saw with my Naked Eyes. It will be upon you to believe it or not. Just don’t tell me to go near security officer anymore.

Dad – What! Why? Why all this condition?

Aunty – Bawa calm down a bit.

Sir – Anna, let him speak. You go on, we agree with that.

Staff1 – Actually, I didn’t tell you the whole incident. Yesterday I was on night duty. When I was cleaning the floor at midnight, suddenly I heard a man’s scream and saw a man wounded with blood on his body running and screaming save me, save me.

I didn’t think twice; I went running after him. But then, I heard this loud growl behind me. It was so animalistic that it sent shockwaves through my body, making me freeze in place.

Sir: A growl? What kind of growl are you talking about?

Staff1: It was terrifying! When I looked back, that's when I saw it. It was the scariest thing I’ve ever encountered.

Aunty - What do you mean? What did you see?

Staff 1 - I…It…was a thing… a scary… a creature….no a monster….it was running towards him on four legs at an insane speed!

Sir – What?! Four legs? What are you talking about?

Aunty – Ammoo Devuda!

Staff1 – Yes sir, believe me, I’m not lying. It was running on all fours like an animal but with humanlike hand and legs. But then it did something which made me sure that it wasn’t any human.

It started crawling upon the wall.

Sir – W…wh…what??

Staff1 – I swear by my children sir. Believe me, no father will promise upon their children and tell lies.

That thing climbed upon the ceiling like it was nothing and jumped on that man.

Aunty – Oh Lord! It was climbing upon wall? How?!

Staff1- That’s what is the scary part sir. A normal human couldn’t even think of it. It was on the ceiling. Then within seconds he tore apart that man’s bone and muscles. Like literally I could see his intestines and organs hanging out.

Aunty - Oh dear heavens, this is horrific!

Dad - what where you doing all this while it was beating and killing a person? You’re an adult, couldn’t you help him?

Staff 1 – Yes Sir, I’m an adult man. That’s why without even thinking, I started hitting it with a wooden bar. But that monster caught me and with a single swing it cut my arm. That blow was so powerful that it threw me away like a rag doll.

Dad – Urh! So, you couldn’t do anything?

Staff1 – (breathless) Sir, I was badly injured and fell hard on the ground. It took me some time to recover. But it’s my wife’s prayers that God gave me enough strength last night. That’s why I was able to get up quickly and ran inside before it could kill me.

Sir – (eyes widening) What!!! Where did you run??

Staff1 – (voice trembling) Sir, I ran away to save my life. Because that thing, the way it was ripping him apart and… th-those spilling blood… the way it was grunting, I was very scared sir; I thought it would kill me too. I have small children, sir. If anything happens to me, they will end up on the footpath!
 (starts crying)

Aunty - Don’t cry nothing will happen to you. Don’t cry

Sir – (crossing his arms, frowning) This really sounds very sketchy. Is this all real or you’re making a story out of all this?

Staff1 – Please sir, believe me I’m not making anything. What would I get to speak lies. I want you ‘all to be safe. If you want proof, here look it attacked me with his sharp claws.

Aunty - (gasping) what!!! It had claws

Staff 1 - (lifting his sleeve and bandages cautiously) yes madam, look at my torn-out arm, you will understand what I’m trying to say.

Aunty - isshhh oh god that looks so bad. No..no please hide it, I’m scared of all this wounds and blood stuffs.

Sir – (leaning in, examining the injury closely) OH!!! Hm that looks really bad. What are those deep lines? I have never seen such type of wound!

Staff1 – You have never seen it because these wounds can be given only by a predator not by any human. Human don’t possess claws nor such strength in their arms to rip someone’s arm apart.

Dad - okay so what happened next? You ran inside the villa building; did you call anyone for help?

Staff1 - Yes sir, I took two security guard and our manager with me but when we reached there, that monster wasn’t there anymore.

Aunty - Both of them were gone?!!

Staff 1- No madam, how could a human save himself from such a monstrous attack?! That unknown man laid their bathed in blood, broken bones, torn muscles. Worst of all I saw his right arm torn apart from his body.

(Oh No! He has seen everything!

HRR…That’s why I wanted to kill him but you stopped it!

Because he begged in name of his wife and children, what would happen to them?

ARR…That’s none of our business. Yesterday you promised me to let me do anything I want but you didn’t

I did let you! I stopped you from going insane. This man is unknown to us, why harm him?

HRR…. He is the only eye witness. He has to die by today.

What??!!)

Dad - who? That other man!! What about that young boy or monster whatever you were referring?

Staff 1 - He was nowhere to be seen. But I did see him climb upon our building sir.

Dad - what rubbish? How could someone climb a 10-storey building?

Staff1 - when you are inhuman and got claws you can sir.

Dad - stop all this nonsense stories

Staff1 - it might appear story to you sir. But I have faced it, I have got hit and was about to die. I know what I faced. I know that it wasn’t any human it was an evil monster!!!

Aunty - oh god Bawa, I’m getting very scared of all this. Let’s return back to our home. I will book the flights.

Dad - stop it Latha, there isn’t any ghost or monster like things. Act like an adult.

Okay you, do you know anything or can you throw some light on this matter?

Staff2- yes sir, I just know that the man that was attacked was a thief and had many allegations of theft and even murders too. This is what security officer has said.

Dad- Does security officer has any clue about who attacked him or anything?

Staff2 - Yes sir, security officer are suspecting it as a gangster’s fight.

Sir – What about camera footage?

Staff2 – Sir, all this incident took place outside of this building. Tragically all this happened exactly at the blind spot of our security cameras. Which is why there isn’t any CCTV or cameras footage captured of it.

Staff1 – No sir, In the side jewellery mall camera footage did show that something flew over their top of the building.

Dad - okay so what did the security officer do with that footage?

Staff2 – Nothing sir, it was some plastic bag or cloth piece. What would they do with it.

Staff1 - what!!! No, it clearly showed a monster. But they cleared all the footage for their image. They don’t care about anybody lives other than their money.

Staff2 – Shut up Punit!

Dad – So What did security officer say about this incident? What was all this?

Staff2 – Sir I have told it many a times that security officer informed it was just a mere fight between two local gangsters. That’s it! Next security officer are on the case and they will find the other gangster who did all this.

Staff1 – No sir, they all have paid hefty money to security officer so that they can close this case quickly.

Sir – What?!

Staff1 – Yes sir, that Sharmaji from jewellery shop too gave money as bribery to shut down this case.

Aunty – Why?! Why shut down this case.

Staff1 – So that they could protect their image and business. For them that man’s life isn’t important. All they care is to run their business. That’s why security officer informed us that they will make up something and write it. As that man has a criminal background so, it won’t be an issue after all. Whole management has even warned me to not speak about that incident that’s why Lokesh was trying to stop me.

Dad – What? Lokesh, is this True?

Staff2 – Of course not sir. Like I said Punit is exaggerating things from tonight. First of all, yes management did pay to security officer but to clear this case quickly as possible. Yes, management did asked Punit to stop saying his fairytale because none of what he says makes sense. He Doesn’t have any proof but his stupid story will scare our guests and create chaos. Now you tell me sir, who seems genuine to you?

Dad - So is that thief dead or alive?

Staff 2 - At that moment he was alive but we can’t say if he will survive.

Sir - ohhh, is he injured that badly?

Staff 2 - Yes sir, but believe me there’s nothing like monster or ghost as such. It must have been two thieves fighting with each other. Also, for your reference, all of this took place out of our building so it’s clear that our security is active 24 hours and nothing to worry about.

Staff1 – Reh! Don’t be puppet of the management for few extra cash. They have a kid, at least tell them the truth.

Staff2 – Shut up Punit. Stop with this fairy tale story or else you will be fired.

Staff1 – Do you think I care? I was about die yesterday night. I don’t want any of this job. I will beg at temple or street but will never work here. If the monster returns, let’s see how you will tackle him?

Staff2 – At least I’m not a cry-baby.

Dad - okay…okay we understood! So, what’s the status now. Is everything safe here or not?

Staff2 - yes sir, you are perfectly safe. There are security officer guarding this building and there is high level of indoor and outdoor securities. This is the safest place in whole Mumbai.

Just a request sir, please don’t fall for immature stories. We all know there isn’t such things, it was a fight and it happened out of this building on a public road.

(Great! No body is believing him. Now we don’t need to hurt him.

HRR…. Why are you protecting him? He is nobody! Let me taste his blood. I promise this time no one will notice. I will hide his corpse perfectly.

No! He is not a nobody. He is someone’s husband, father, brother. I don’t want any innocent to get hurt.

Why?!!!!!

Because I see myself in them. This is how that bastard treated us with force. I don’t want anyone to feel degraded, pain. We are not like him.

HRR…Okay!!)

Staff1 - You ‘all will regret this. That thing will surely return.

Dad - okay, then send us the lunch that I have ordered. Take Punit with you.

Staff 2- yes sir

(they left)

Aunty - Bawa, I’m very scared of this please let us return to Bangalore.

Sir - Yes Anna all of this sounds very sketchy. Whatever Punit said seemed genuine. Even I’m scared!!

Dad - Aree, you both are very dumb!! Did you both hear anything except that guy’s stupid ghost story?

Aunty - what??

Dad – That second guy said it all true. Simply that man was a criminal. He must have done crimes and hurt many people. Also, this is Mumbai, it’s filled with many underworld Dons and powerful peoples. Someone might have grudge on him. So, they choose a perfect timing when no one was around and perfect venue where there are no cameras and attacked him. That’s why those security officer also didn’t interfere because it’s must have been between two gang members.

Aunty- fine!! Let’s take it as gang fight. Still do you feel safe around here, where peoples are getting attacked and hospitalised.

Dad - yeah, you’re right, this place isn’t safe for us.

Sir - what happened Anna? you look very sad and depressed.

Dad - yeah Rahul I’m sad for whatever happened. But one thing that’s eating me from inside is how bad husband and how worst father I have gotten?
I should have been near my wife and son but no I was having fun performing adultery and cheating my wife.

Aunty - leave it Bawa, we all agreed nah that it was a big mistake we all committed. Let’s take a lesson out of it and forget this.

Dad - I don’t know Latha if I ever be able to forgive myself. How careless was I to leave Jyoti tied to bed and leaving the door open.

God, my whole body is shivering in fear that my son was sleeping alone in a separate room with full door open.

What would have I done if anything happened to him? You know nah Latha he is my life. I do all hard work so that I could provide him everything. But look I brought him to an unknown city, unknown place and left him alone to have fun. I hate myself!!!

(I told you. Our dad loves us very much. He wouldn’t have done all of this.)

Aunty - Please Bawa don’t say such things. Everyone is fine so just forgotten all of this. I know we all committed a big mistake. We cheated them, I cheated Akka and I’m very sorry for it!!!

(Aww She is feeling sorry!

Shut up! Don’t fall for this. These imaginary love of yours’s will make us weak)

Dad - yeah, I left my wife all tied up to a bed. She was so vulnerable. Still when I opened her and begged for forgiveness she hugged and said it’s okay. I can’t believe how much she loves me.

Latha - oh no did you tell her everything or what?

Dad - I tried but couldn’t, I couldn’t say a word when she touched my feet, respecting me as a god.

Sir - Anna I’m very sorry for all this. I feel like I have committed a crime. Madam calls me sir and respects me as her elder brother but in lust we all just became animals. We didn’t care about anything except our hunger.

Aunty - (slowly crying) is akka okay? Why hasn’t she come out?

Dad - I had tied her to bed all night. She was thirsty, hungry that’s why she couldn’t sleep all night.

Aunty - oh no, I’m very sorry Bawa!!! It’s all my fault, I planned all this without thinking how akka will feel about this. Cheee!!! I’m a worst sister to her.

(HRR….EKKK! It’s her! She did all of this.

Please, she was just trying something. Even she didn’t know….

Shut up! Just shut your mouth or I will….

Will you calm down! Just listen to her! She is asking for forgiveness!

No! Never! I have no mercy for anyone who hurts my mom. I only punish! I will not calm down, when I know the real culprit of our mom and dad’s misfortunes. It’s her deed!
Our mom went through hell for her. She got treated like a whore whole night by them. For their pleasure, that bitch planned all this so that she could get our dad.

Then they all are in fault not her alone

All of this started for her! She will pay for it! She will pay for every drop of tear of our mother!

HAAA! HAAA! I will rip her apart! M…Mom cried for her.

HRR!! I will drop her blood exact amount to our mom’s every drop of tears!

Wait! Wait! Listen….

HHRRRR……AUGH!!)

Dad - No Latha, you’re not the only culprit, we all are. We equally participated in this.

(See they all are culprit. Even our dad acknowledged it.

HAA…Then dad will be punished too

What!? You have gone crazy!)

Sir - so are we going to tell her the truth!!!

Aunty- No..please don’t…, don’t say such things. I can’t face her ever, I will die of shame. (started crying even loudly)

Dad - yeah and what if Chinna comes to know about it. He will never forgive me. No, I can’t lose my son!!!

(WOW! Dad loves me so much. He cares so much about me.

Don’t fall for these gimmicks. They all are evils. Just wait till sun goes down, you will see so called good people turn into monsters for their carnal pleasure.)

Sir - yeah, I can’t do either. So, it’s better we don’t speak a word about it.

Dad - yeah

(See, I told you. Under their innocent faces they are hiding their evil deeds from the world. But han-haa not from us, not from me.
So, you have gone from us to yourself!

Yes! You can’t take tough decisions. You are bound by love, family, bonding. Not me! I’m free!

Yeah! You’re right! I’m bonded with love and family but I never showed lover or care to my family. Not anymore! Hence forth I will decide what to do?

For now, I don’t think they deserve any punishment. Yes, they have committed a huge mistake but they themselves acknowledged it.

Also, they all are very dear to our mom. Hurting them would hurt her too. I don’t think mom would ever want them to get hurt.

Dad has forgiven me for all these years. I can forgive him this once. They do love each other the most.

If at all he breaks his promise then he will surely face my wrath but not for now!

HRR…What do you think you’re? Do you think you are a noble to forgive them?

No! I’m just their son, their 'only son' to forgive them!)

Aunty - Is Akka okay? I Want to see her (still crying)

Dad - yeah come let’s wake her up. Get her something to eat. Latha wipes your tear, don’t cry in front of her.

As they all got up, I instantly ran to my room and half closed the door. After sitting for a while I got bored and starting using my cell phone. I started searching on how to get physically strong.

Suddenly I heard my mom calling my name

Chinna…. Chinna......

Me - yes mumma!

She instantly rushed towards me and hugged me very tightly and began kissing on my forehead and cheeks like she always used to pamper me. Instantly I forgot everything and got lost with a motherly sentiment. This is just pure love, a true mother- son bond.

While hugging my mom I realised that there was a golden chain hanging from her neck other than the Mangal sutra given by my dad. I had to do something. She can’t wear that.

Me – URRGGHH!!! Mom, what is that thing??? OOUUHH!!!

Mom – What happened beta??

Me – You have something very sharp around your neck? What is that thing? I’m seeing it first time around your neck. AARRHH!!! It cut my cheeks.

Mom – What??!! Where? Show me!! Oh no, I’m very sorry chinna. I didn’t mean to!!

Me – Take it out mom. Look how badly it cut my skin!

Mom – AIOO!! Sorry chinna. OHH NOO, EHH so much blood is coming out. What should I do?!

Me – It’s okay I will apply some ointment.

Mom – You’re hurt, how will you apply yourself? Let me do it. First stop the blood. Oh God!

Me – No mom, don’t come near.

Mom – Chinna, why?! I..I’m sorry beta. Mumma didn’t do it. It happened in accident (watery eyes)

Me – Yeah mom I know it! That’s why I’m saying you to stay away so that I don’t get hurt by this sharp chain. I’m so scared of it!

Mom – Oh Don’t worry nana, I will hide it inside my saree. See now it will not come out.

Me – Nah mom I’m scared. Why don’t you take it off?

Mom – I... I…. can’t…. It’s gifted beta!

Me – It’s okay mom. Dad will understand. I will tell to dad that it was hurting me so I asked you to remove it.

Mom – No! No Chinna, don’t mention about this to dad! Leave this nah!

Me – What happened mom? Did dad and you Faught?

Mom – No chinna, leave all this. Since when did my son started to care about all this?

Me – Hm from today. Please mom don’t hide anything from dad. He will get hurt. Also, this thing is hurting me and looks ugly on you. I don’t think you should wear this!!!

Mom – HMM??!!! But…...

Me – What happened mom?!! Take it away. Is this more important than me and dad?

(Her eyes grew bigger and she immediately removed it from her neck and kept it aside)

Mom – (eyes widening in shock, quickly removing the necklace from her neck and placing it on the table) No, my baby! Nothing is more important to me than you. You’re my most precious gift ever.

(crossing arms against me in tight hug, voice trembling as if thinking something) Yeh!! If anything hurts you, it doesn’t belong to me anymore.

(Whispering slowly as if speaking to herself, while eyes closed and hugging me) What was I thinking for him? Falling for these traps? He tried to hurt my baby! God did punish him good!

Me – What happened mom? What are you whispering?

Mom – Hm nothing chinna. Just Mumma is happy to see you. My little baby.

Now I wanted to completely forget all those activities as all of us were fine and even Dad learned his lesson. It’s safe to say that due our strong bond, despite all those troubles we came back strongly. Also, I noticed that the hickeys he gave to mom were fading much faster than my given wounds on him. Yeah, we ripped his exact muscles and skin that either touched my mom or violated her. we marked exactly on that same spot where he marked my mom.

Now that everything is back to normal and all of them had learned their mistakes, I don’t think I need to teach them any more lessons. So now I can get back to being her small cute baby (actually she never considered me big, for her I’m still a baby only)

Mom - oh my baby I missed you so much!!!

Me - why mom? It was just a night like always. Is everything alright?

Mom - Didn’t you miss me. I haven’t seen you from evening. My little baby, what did you had in breakfast? (She kept kissing on my cheeks and caressing my head like she would always do while pampering me.)

Me - uhhh…mmmm I haven’t had breakfast mom. Actually, I woke little late.

Mom- Aiyyyoo… you are empty stomach. Oh my god I’m so sorry

Chinna. I was tired so I slept, I…I…. will

Me - Mumma calm down, it’s just a single day thing. Also, I’m an adult now. Don’t say such things loudly, what would others say if they heard you, that he is so childish!!!

Mom - heheh shut up!!! You’re my baby. But why do my chinna thinks he has grown up huh!!

Me – yes, I’m grown up, see I’m taller than you

Mom - hmm, that’s it. Just see height only, while look how thin you have gotten. You should eat in time nah!

Me - yeah mom sure I will eat in time from now on, but now can we eat something?!!

Mom- what?!!! I’m a hearing right!!! You are asking for food?!!

Me - yeah what’s so surprising in this. Can’t I feel hungry?

Mom- Really!!! you want to eat... Like you’re not making fun of me!!

Me - mumma!!!! please let’s eat something nah, I’m hungry!!!

Mom- Really…oh my…I can’t believe…you’re asking for food…. I... I’m so happy…wait I will cook something quickly…oh no I can’t cook here…wait I will inform your father.

I couldn’t believe mom ran so excitedly to inform my dad. But is she right? Didn’t I ever demand for food? Man, how self-cornered had I gotten.

I wanted to go behind her and talk to my dad but I didn’t know how to approach him.

Anyways after a while mom called me for lunch happily and even began dragging me.

Dad - here Chinna, take whatever you like. Also here is the menu if you want anything else we can order it!!

Me - can I sit with you all and have lunch.

Dad - what!!!

Me - I want to sit with all and have food.

Mom - Is this my Chinna? What has happened to you all of sudden?

Aunty - Stop it Akka, make him sit quickly before he changes his mind.

Sir - yeah Chinna come sit, also it’s your wish where you want to sit?

Me - I will sit beside dad!!

Aunty - why dad and not us?

Me - because he is the best dad and I love him!!!

I could clearly see everyone was Shocked and my mom began crying slightly. I don’t blame them as it was all my fault to not look after my family, never bothered to care about them. I was so selfish but starting from today everything will change.

Me - oh come on!! Why are you all looking so surprised? I know I don’t say it or show it but I do love him. He is my dad!!

Suddenly I felt someone pulled me from side and hugged me tightly. I realised it was my dad and I hugged him back like I used to do when I was kid. When we got separated, I could see his eyes filled with tears.

Me - why are you crying dad?

Aunty - well looks like someone got touched to their sensitive nerve. Looks like Bawa has found his lost love!!! Embrace it Bawa, you have earned it.

Suddenly from other side mom hugged us both. Seeing our family reunion both Latha aunty and Shetty sir started clapping.

Then finally we all sat down to eat and I sat in between my parents.

Me - Dad, I want to play a sport

Dad - This video game, I will get it when we reach Bangalore I promise!!!

Me - No dad not video game I want to play any real game like sports thing.

Dad - what!!!!

Again, everyone looked at me shocked. I know they wouldn’t be expecting that I would say something like that but come on wasn’t this bad? Did I not see anything other than video games?

Aunty - Akka I think God has finally listened to your prayers. Did you all hear what I just heard and seeing?

Mom - hehehe yeah, I think I’m dreaming!!!

Dad - whatever it is please don’t disturb me. This dream is so beautiful I want to live in this.

Me - oh come on!! You all are making fun of me. Quit it already!!!

Sir - You seriously want to play sports like outdoor games?!

Me - yes sir

Sir – how? what happened to you…I mean how did you got this thought? actually I meant to ask was….

Me - I understood sir, yesterday while playing video game one girl challenged me that I might be good in video games but I surely don’t know anything about real sports. Also, she kept on telling me as ‘weak and unattractive in real life’.

Dad - (angrily) who said it you?

Me - leave it dad. Actually, she was right!

Mom - No she wasn’t, don’t listen to them. Who said this to you tell me, I will talk to their parents.

Me - No mom, I want to reply them through action. I want to prove them that they were wrong. That’s why I wanted to play any sports. I want to stay healthy and look good.

Dad - That’s very nice Chinna. I’m so proud of you and so happy! What kind of game are you interested in?

Me – mm, something that’s interesting but not too serious. I want a game that will make me a bit tired but still be fun enough that I can play it every day.

Dad – Yeah, there are lot of games that are beginner friendly and many of them I know too. So, if you want, I can help you learn them.

Me - yeah that be great. So, what all game could be good for me?

Dad - How about basketball, volleyball. They can be fun to pick up.

Sir - cricket, football?

Dad - No those are high intensity games. It demands a lot practice and dedication for it.

Sir - Hmm... how about tennis?

Dad - Tennis is a good option, but still a bit serious. How about badminton, son? I know it very well, so I could teach you. It’s a really interesting sport and a lot of fun too!

Me: Badminton sounds cool! Is it tough to learn?

Dad: Not at all! You just have to get a feel for the racket and the shuttlecock. We can start with some basic drills and then play a little!

Sir: And it’s a great workout without being too intense on beginners.

Me: Perfect! can we start today?!

Mom - No this place isn’t safe. You can play it when we reach home.

Dad- Jyoti it’s okay nothing to worry about.

Mom - But all those things you said…

Dad - shhh I’m here with my son we all are here with him. I’m enough capable to protect my son.

Me - what happened dad?

Dad - nothing Chinna, your mom worries a lot. Okay for your sports let’s talk with management and see if they have Badminton court and equipment.

Sir - I will talk with them Anna and inform you.

Then we all had lunch and sat down watching tv. But this time I didn’t leave to my room rather lied my head on my dad’s lap. I could feel his hand rubbing my hair and caressing my head. I felt so comfortable and safe that I fell asleep instantly.

I was again woken up by someone talking loudly. As I opened my eyes and looked up it was the staff members. Shetty sir was having some conversation with them. As he saw me sitting and not sleeping, he rushed towards me with a big smile. He informed me that there is indeed badminton court here and all the equipment required. But we have to visit their management and get it checked ourselves. I happily nodded and ran towards my room informing them that I will go to get it.

When I came out of my room, dad informed me that he would go to badminton court and put the net while me and Shetty sir would get all other equipment’s like racket and all from the management.

As we reached the management office Shetty sir asked if I could talk with them myself as he wanted to have a conversation with security management. Here I too wanted to join him as I myself wanted to get updates on the issue and if anyone found any clue or evidence but sir rejected the idea and asked to get the equipment.

For a while I was quite pissed off that he didn’t take me with him but later I realised that he will surely collect the information and give it to my parents. Hmm, well I can hide and hear it. Hahaha it’s crazy that I mastered this in single night.

Now I walked into management office. There were two people sitting on chair wearing nice suits.

Management1 - What happened beta, do you need something?

Me - yes, I want badminton equipment's!!!

Management1 - Ohhh good, do you know where is our badminton court?

Me - no but my dad knows it!

Management2 - Ohh so you’re going to play with your father, that so nice. Just wait a minute beta I will get it for you.

Management1- Here beta, tell your name. So that I could write it down on resister for security purposes.

Me – Ohh!! okay sir, it’s Chinna

Management1 - What????

Me - my name sir, my name is Chinna

Management2 - Oh no beta, tell your full name or college name.

Me - oh sorry sir. My name is Aditya

Management1 - Huh!!

Me - My full name is Aditya Rao, son of Vinay Rao. We are from Hyderabad.

Wow, what a transformation! Who would have thought that sweet innocent boy would grow up to be a man(as well a criminal) by the end of the night. He's definitely not the same as he used to be.

I grabbed every piece of badminton equipment and left. After a long moment of waiting, Shetty Sir came out of another room. We spoke briefly as we made our way back to the court, and he continued to go over some fundamental badminton regulations with me and offer some advice.

Dad showed me how to play after we arrived at the court, and then, shockingly, mum and Latha aunty joined us. Unexpectedly, we all played together, with two of us on each team, and had a great time laughing and fighting. It was such a wholesome experience for me like having real fun and not some gimmick like in games. Since I was playing outside for the first time in years, I was naturally more exhausted than Sir and my father.
After a while it was getting late. Also, we all were very tired so we returned back.

Dad: So, what do you think, Chinna? Did you like badminton?

Me: Oh yes! It was so nice. It’s way harder than playing video games. Every shot was unpredictable, which made it really interesting! But I definitely get tired too quickly, and I’m not as good as you both!

Dad: Come on, you were pretty good for your first time, son.

Me: That’s because I’m gifted by our family’s powerful genes! Or else I would have been even worse.

[Everyone bursts into laughter, the sound echoing through the evening air.]

Aunty: [giggling] Heheh… oh my stomach hurts… hehe! What happened to you, Chinna? First you joined us, played with us, and now you’re killing us with your jokes!

Sir: Seems like Mumbai air did some magic on him!

Me: [pouting] Stop it! Why are you all laughing? This wasn’t any joke! I’m serious! First, you take my breath away playing for so long, and then you laugh at me like morons!

[The laughter erupts again.]

Mom: [smiling lovingly] Oh, my poor baby! Don’t worry, sweetie! Mama will punish them for laughing at my baby!

Me: [trying to sound serious] I am NOT any baby! I’m taller than most of you! Sure, I may be younger, but I definitely isn’t a baby! Babies don’t come out this big, not anymore!

[Their laughter rings out even louder, and I cross my arms in irritation. They look like they’re about to burst into more laughter.]

Me: [huffing] Okay, fine! You all want to laugh?

Me: [under my breath] Unbelievable...

After a while they all came and joined me in the pool.

Aunty: [from the distance, still chuckling] Looks like someone needed a cool down!

Sir: [laughing harder] Don’t worry, Chinna, the jokes will always be here waiting!

Me: Dad, when will I be as good as you? How long will it take?

Dad: It all depends on how much time and effort you put into it. Just remember not to stress too much; it’s a sport, and you should be enjoying yourself.

Me: Yeah, but I really want to be as good as you!

Dad: You have the talent, Chinna. You're a gifted child in our family. Whatever you dedicate yourself to, you excel at to a level that others can rarely match. Like with video games — you loved it and became so skilled that you competed in world tournaments, things many adults can only dream of. So I'm confident that anything you pursue, you’ll excel in.

Me: Sir, can you teach me how to defend against those powerful shots my dad was sending your way?

Sir: Of course, Chinna! But first, you need to work on your forearm strength. You see this part of your arm? You need to build some muscle there.

Me: Hmm, but I want to have big muscles like yours — in my arms and chest, I want to look strong.

Sir: Haha! Sure thing, Chinna, but not at your age. Lifting weights now might affect your growth!

Aunty: Oh, come on, Rahul — he’s already tall enough! How much bigger does he need to be?

Me: No way, I want to be taller than Dad and my uncle too!

Aunty: Hehe, are you listening, Bawa? Your son seems to be sizing you up as his competitor!

Dad: Let him be! I want him to achieve everything he desires.

Sir: Chinna, I’ll show you some exercises that will help you build strength and muscle. After that, we can work on your agility and endurance.

Mom: Oh my gosh, why all this? My baby might get hurt! Why apply so much pressure?

Dad: Jyothi! It’s his passion; he wants to pursue something, and we shouldn’t hold him back
.

Aunty: Yes, Akka, Bawa is right. Rahul has plenty of experience with workouts, and he’ll guide him carefully.

Dad: "Chinna, can you do me a favor? It's getting late, so please start packing your bags and make sure you don't leave anything behind."

Me: "Why, Dad?"

Dad: "We’re leaving tomorrow morning for our flight. So, it’s best to pack early and get to bed so you can wake up on time."

Me: "But we just arrived yesterday. Why are we leaving so soon?"

Mom: "Your father has some urgent work to attend to, Chinna. It’s important that we leave as early as possible."

Dad: "I’m really sorry, Chinna, but don’t worry—our next vacation will be here before you know it, and I’ll make sure it’s something special.”

Me: "No, Dad. Let Aunty plan it. She’s great at this kind of stuff. This place has been amazing, and I bet she can organize even more exciting trips."

Latha Aunty: "Oh, Chinna! (feeling emotional) Thank you for saying that. You’re so kind. I’ve realized that you’re the strongest link in our family. Your father was right; you are the best thing that ever happened to us. Please keep being this wonderful—talk to us, play with us. We might be older, but..."

Me: "No, Aunty, you’re all very strong and fun. You're not old; you're beautiful and amazing."

Aunty: "Oh my gosh, Chinna, you think I’m beautiful?"

Me: "Yes, but not as much as my mom. She's even more beautiful than you."

Aunty: "Haha, yes, you’re absolutely right! Your mom is really beautiful. I love you, Chinna. Thank you for saying that." (She gives me a hug.)

Mom: "Looks like my little baby has grown up to be quite wise, hehe."

Aunty: "He’s not just your baby; he’s our baby—everyone’s pride and joy."

After exchanging a few more words, I retreated to my room but soon chose to lurk in the living room instead, eager to overhear their conversation and gather the latest details about the crime.

“Aunty, I can't believe I'm already crying!”

“Embrace it, dear,” replied Sir. “These are the best moments of our lives. Just enjoy it!”

“Children truly are a gift from God. I was so broken this morning, filled with guilt. But then he came into my life and everything changed. I forgot all my worries—I laughed, cried, and felt everything,” Aunty said, wiping her tears away.

“That's my son,” Mom chimed in. “But what guilt are you talking about?”

“Don’t change the subject. Chinna isn’t just your son—he’s my son too. You won’t distract me from that!” Aunty insisted.

Mom chuckled softly, while Dad interjected, “Okay, Rahul, what did security management say?”

“They assure us that there’s nothing to worry about. Everything is under control,” said Sir.

“What about the attack? Have they found any evidence, or identified who is responsible?” Dad pressed.

“Not really. It seems they’ve concluded it was just a gang fight, like you said. The security officer have stepped back, and now they’re trying to erase any evidence. Since this happened outside their building in an upscale area, everyone wants to keep it quiet so it doesn't damage their business reputation.”

Dad shook his head. “That’s what happens when you get involved in crime. You lose even basic rights!”

“Let it go; why dwell on it? Have they figured out what he did?” Mom asked.

“Not much. Most villas don’t have cameras for privacy, so they only have limited footage of him leaving,” Sir replied.

“That’s better. Then why are we wasting time? We can leave tomorrow!” Mom exclaimed.

“Jyoti! Don’t fret so much. We’re all here together,” Dad reassured her.

“W…What?! No, I’m not worried at all. In fact, I’m relieved that God has punished him for his misdeeds. It’s just that I don’t feel safe here—the security is terrible, and I’ll never forgive them for not stopping him before he entered this villa.”

“Akka, what’s wrong? Is everything okay?” Aunty asked, sensing Mom’s distress.

“Y-yes, w…what? I…It’s just... I get horrified thinking a criminal could enter and leave without any consequences. Why are we wasting our time discussing about him? We can leave as quickly as possible before anyone finds out. A…Also what if other gang members come back for revenge?” Mom stammered.

“Madam is right. Regardless of what they say about our safety, we need to be cautious and leave tomorrow,” Sir agreed.

“Let’s get out of here as soon as we can,” Aunty added.

“Alright, let’s do this. Jyoti, call Chinna to sleep with us, and you two can rest in his room. It’s still early, so everyone starts packing your things. In the meantime, I’ll reach out to management for extra security and order some food,” Dad instructed.

After hearing from dad everyone walked to their room. I too came to my room with much relief that I will not be jailed. Oh man! I don’t want him! This was crazy! What ever it is inside me, I can’t say it to anyone. Was that myself, like evil myself? Oh, I don’t want to think about it! Let’s just say all happened for good but I’m certainly never letting it out again. From today there will no more Chinna, only Aditya.

Yeah, Chinna is most pampered that’s why he is weak, weakest among us. From today I will take control of us. There will be no more weak-ass nor monsters, only Aditya.

While thinking and applauding my plan I packed all my stuffs. Not going to lie this place gave me many bad memories, some I didn’t wanted but enjoyed it while I hated few too. Still, I couldn’t forget that all of this made me a man.

After a while mom called me for dinner and we all had it together than we went to sleep like my dad ordered.

Next day I was woken up by mom and she asked me to get freshened quickly or we will be late for flight. We all got ready and took taxi for airport.

At the airport I was scared and worried because being an international airport there were lot of security officer and security personnel's. I was mostly scared of those commandos. While checking in I got very nervous as it was for first, I had committed something that intense. So, no matter how strong will I had when I came before commandos all my confidence drowned and I began shaking in fear and anxiety as what would happen if they know about me. They will surely put me in jail.

Because of all that fear, I began sweating and one of security personnel saw it.

What happened, what you sweating so much? Are you alright?

Mom - sorry sir, actually he little afraid of flights. That too we made sudden plan so he might have gotten tensed.

“Ohh, hahhah! Nothing to worry about beta. Look how fearless and beautiful your mother is. Hahaha! You’re very pretty madam!! Where are you from?”

As soon I heard this, again something happened in me, something inside me snapped. An unknown rage creeping above my fear like waiting to burst. My heart beat rose swelling my veins pumping me for some war.

Me - My father is just behind. I suggest you focus on your job rather than hitting on someone’s wife.

My mom immediately held my arm and tried to pull back but I was out of that zone. I felt anger towards him.

Let me out…. let me….

Stop!

“What happened beta? I was just trying to make you and your mother comfortable dear.”

Let me handle it like a man! Let me out!

No! I can handle better than you. You stay away!

Me - what!!! What did you say?

Mom - Chinna!! Stop Chinna!!!

Me - Do you think I’m stupid or you trying to think I’m weak and dumb that you say anything to my mom in front of me.

HUFF****HRRR***HUFF****

Beta, you’re unnecessarily getting angry and sweating so much. You shouldn’t treat elders this way!!! Just calm down beta!!

Me – HRRR…Why the hell should I care about you being elder!!!(shouted loudly) ERKK…...I will rip your elder throat apart and bath in your blood. Do you hear me!!!

Dad - Chinna what is going on?

“Dad, he made a disrespectful comment about Mom! Don’t let him get away with it!”

“Chinna, stop! What’s going on, Jyoti? What’s the matter, sir?”

Mom - please take Chinna from here. He is over reacting!!!

Me: “What?! That guy is making offensive comments about you, and you’re just standing there? I’m not overreacting; I’m addressing the problem!”

Me: “What did you say to my mom?” What did you say to her? Speak!! (I moved towards him, fuelled with anger)

Him: “I only said she was beautiful; I swear I didn’t mean any harm, sir!”

Me: “What?!

HRRR…. ERKK…...How dare you say that again?!

URKK……Do you even know, who I’m?

(In a burst of rage, I grabbed his collar, shoving him sideways, causing him to stumble while my dad rushed to stop me)

HHRRR…HRRR… I’ll tear you apart!” YEEE…...KRR…

(As I was again the zone of high temper and with my adrenaline kicking. My blood rushing to veins as if forcing me to act violently. I lost myself and held his arms tightly against his shoulder, making him defenceless to my attack. I wanted to snape his neck but my dad caught me so I dragged him sideways towards the wall thereby he slipped and came on his knees. While all this I didn’t realise that my dad fell down)

Caught up in my fury, I lost all reason and only wanted to unleash my wrath on whoever was in front of me. Suddenly mom came in front of me in tear eyes as she was thinking I was getting attacked by the security personal. She began pleading to let me go. At that instance I could feel myself easing, my mind slowly getting to sense and I left his arms not wanting to create a doubt in my mom’s mind.

Suddenly, a sharp slap jolted me back to reality. It was my dad, gripping me firmly. Looking deep into my eyes, he shouted for me to apologize to the guard. Though I managed to calm down, I still felt a flicker of anger and my mind unstable.

Me – NEVER!!!! HRRR…... (deep growl) …

(Dad flinched in surprise and stepped back a little)

Dad – Stop it chinna why are you this angry? I will tell you what was your mistake later but for now accept your mistake for raising hand upon an elder and ask sorry.
“Leave it sir, he is just a kid. It was all my mistake. I shouldn’t have talked about his mother that way. I’m sorry ma’am.

(Shetty sir and Latha aunty arrived on the scene, with Sir quickly trying to shield me.)

Sir - what happened Anna

Dad – Chinna, say sorry now!

(Mom looking in my eyes) Please sorry to him chinna. Let’s go from here.

Me - I’m sorry!

Dad - where is the respect, this isn’t the way I taught you, son. Aditya don’t do it, go ask him sorry like you mean it!!!

Aunty - leave it Bawa!! Chinna asked sorry already! I’m sorry sir, he is just a child. He is tired from waking up too early that’s why he reacted this way but I promise he is a sweet child.

Mom - yes sir, my son doesn’t indulge in anything like this. He is not himself today. Please forgive him.

“It’s okay madam. I understand, it was all my mistake” I’m sorry beta, I’m sorry for disrespecting your mother!!”

“You are very lucky madam to have such a strong and protective son. Now a days kids don’t care about their parents but your little son just stood up to fight for you without even thinking twice. I wish, I had a son like him”

Mom - yes sir, he actually loves me a lot. Also, we are from Hyderabad and right now we are living in Bangalore.

“Nehi...nehi madam don’t say such things your son doesn’t like it.

What are you planning to get beaten by him or what? Hahahah!!”

Mom - Aiyoo no sir, he is just a child. Forgive him for his silly mistake.

While mom and dad were having conversation with other security and few commandoes even due to people gathering. So, aunty quickly caught my hand and walked me out of there. while my dad didn’t look happy as my act did get lot of attention and people kept looking at us.

After a while, we boarded our flight, and once again, aunty sat beside me. She began to explain things, emphasizing that while some people appreciate certain behaviours, it doesn't mean they're being negative; rather, it shows kindness. As she continued talking, my attention shifted to my parents, who were engaged in a serious discussion about me.

Dad said, “Did you see how he reacted?”

Mom replied, “Yeah, what happened so suddenly? He’s never like this. I was really scared.”

Dad responded, “He’s inherited this from our family—my father… Abahhh… this is concerning, Jyoti. It’s not good. Did you notice his bloodshot eyes filled with rage? He was so strong; he pushed me aside effortlessly and dragged that full-grown adult like a rag doll!”

Mom interjected, “No, don’t say that. It was an accident. He’s still my baby, and he’s so young.”

Dad acknowledged her, “I get that, Jyoti. He is our son, but this isn’t normal. We can’t just overlook this. That strength and rage? He got them from my father.”
Mom argued, “What’s so wrong with that? Besides, he’s nothing like your father. Mama Garu (father-in-law) is not only strong but also ruthless. He’s hurt many people and wrestles to get what he wants. Our son is different. He’s always ignored the outside world and immersed himself in games. Now that he’s seen more of it, it’s natural for him to react strongly.”

Dad insisted, “I’m not just talking about that. His eyes were bloodshot; I saw that rage in him. It was frightening and just like my father’s.”

Mom retorted, “He probably hasn’t slept well, which could explain the redness. Did you even notice his eyes before the incident?”

Dad answered, “No, but his strength was alarming. He tossed me aside like I was nothing and pulled that big man—who must weigh at least 80-90 kg—around like a rag doll. Did you hear his heavy breathing and grunts? It was as if he wanted to hurt him badly.”

Mom scolded him, “Stop talking about my son like that. You’re overthinking it. He didn’t push you; he loves you too much to do that. You tripped and fell. And he didn’t drag that guard; the man walked alongside him because he understood he was just a child. Don’t ever compare my baby to your father again.”

Dad sighed, “Hmm, maybe you’re right. I could be overreacting. Let’s try to get some rest.”

After a while my mom looked back and asked me to take rest. I nodded and smiled.

I needed a privacy so I went to washroom in the plane. I looked in the mirror:

I told you not to interfere, then why did you?

I had to; Still it was all you, I didn’t do much.

No! As I told earlier there would be no Chinna nor a monster. I’m enough capable to handle both sides.

HRR..What?! Who are you to decide that? Did you forget, you were born out of distress and anger like me?

No, I was born out of great reason. I’m perfect! Why don’t you look at me? I’m more strong, more capable than Chinna. While I’m less violent and monstrous than you. I fill every gap!

You’ll need me!

I don’t think so! I’m enough capable to handle whatever society will throw at me. Remember I’m far superior than chinna. I’m Aditya. But I can still behave like chinna for a while, then it’s only Aditya.

What?! You’re about to subdue our original self?!

Yes! HAHAHA!! I can and I will!

HRR…When? When I will be revived back?

Hmm…Let’s see, if situation arises

HRR…What?!

HAHAHAH!! See you both!!

Now you both go to an eternal sleep!!

Aditya wipes his face and takes a deep breath, shaking off the conversation. He steps back out into the aisle, eyes landing on Latha aunty, who is seated nearby, radiating a warm presence.

‘Ahh what a beauty she is! She was wearing a nice tight fitting yellow salwar and red leggings'

(He pauses, realizing the potential danger of his thoughts)

But chinna liked her very much so, if I will think about her, this might trigger it. Okay so let’s move on from her.
