Panelist said: "Yes, I got that but do you have any other answer? If clothes are just to cover our self then why there are different types of clothes?" I was not getting any argument or answer to respond. We all were thinking what he was expecting in answer. Then one of the candidate replied: "Sir, clothes were used to cover body from the beginning of it's invention. But that is not just all. Clothes are used to display fashion, style and one's personality as well. That's why there are many styles in clothes and everyday it is changing. In a way, I can say clothes is used to cover or show the body. So it's both."

Interviewers applauded her answer. They were very happy listening to the answer. He said: "You correctly answered. This is what I wanted to convey to all the candidates. As a cloth manufacturing company, our employees should understand use of clothes. Clothes are not used to cover body nowadays. Those are to display good part of body in a way that body look beautiful and person wearing it looks impressive. Clothes are to demonstrate good fashion sense and we want all our employees to have it in them. So make sure that you understand real meaning of wearing clothes and present yourself in a way that people look at you twice and appreciate your fashion sense. Mantra for clothing nowadays is 'Less is more'. Is there any doubt?"

This conversation was new to me and it was against my belief. I was not able to agree with interviewer and I was annoyed with him. There was some battle going on my mind that how can someone say to show your body to impress others. There were many ways to impress others like by showcasing your talent, hard work or skills. I didn't agree with interviewer's philosophy to show one's body. In meantime, one of the candidate said "So you mean to say that we girls should start wearing bikini to get people's attention?"
