Yes, I think he forgave her too easily.

He was more upset about the lying, the realtionship with Yogi beyond the sex, the loss of trust. He should have found out more from the servant girl. He should have demanded the truth from Swetha and given her an ultimatum....if you like his domination and love him, why are you still here with me? How do I know that you will stay with me and not continue the affair? Make her suffer for a bit so that she realizes what is more important, to not wander, to stay loyal to him.

Anyway, these sort of things always lead to unintended consequences. One partner somehow decides not to tell all to the other partner because of shame, fear, plans to raise the enjoyment higher, adding other partners etc. etc you name it!

I think the end, though a bit abrupt, is fine. Her realization of her errors and decision to stay with hubby is implicit.
