Some old cine song was playing in a low volume on the radio while I was busy cleaning the house. It was raining heavily on a dusky summer evening. It became quite dark at half past 5 in the evening. The little murky light showing up in the sky from what's left of the day added to the romantic effect of the whole settings. Together, the sound of the rain and the beautiful old song playing in the radio rushed the memories of my husband. I stopped cleaning the hall for a moment, walked over to the window and absently gazed at the old woman and two kids walking on the street under an umbrella that was counting minutes of it's existence. It reminded me of my own countdown which showed less than 48 hours for the return of my husband. Yes, My husband had been on a business trip for a week and 5days have passed by. I miss him the most now, the last 2 days. I was picking up the fallen broom from the floor and was walking back to the place where i left to continue cleaning when i was rudely interrupted by the ringing of the door bell.
