forum fault?

hope you are fine. I'm facing some problems.
i have bookmarked some threads a day before yesterday but now it shows that threads have less pageslike
i bookmarked one video thread on page # 155 but today when i login it shows me that this thread have only 78 pages

check the number of posts in the thread.

50 threads in a forum page.

this totally messed up the index page in my stories thread and now i have to change lots n lots of hyperlinks for chapters.

^ please use specific post link instead of page link

post link is available through #number displayed at top right part of each post.

Post IDs are generated site wide and it also presents a problem when doing index for a big thread.

each post has unique ID - there should be no problem except copying & using.

Xossipy is too slow. Why can't it migrate to a modern platform like discourse, which is mobile responsive and fast.

this type of huge forum requires dedicated server with high RAM
that costs a lot. Also a regular technical admin is required for maintenance.

at present this site is run as a hobbyists community to fill the gap from earlier xossip.

What i meant is, in Xossip and other forums i visit, the post id is generated within that thread only, so its easier to create index with that. I can just count number of updates and create index accordingly. No need to visit each page to get their post id. But here since each post id is generated site wide, i have to manually go to each page and copy paste that.
