Launched in 1963, RVCE has 11 branches in technology, 1 faculty in structure, and a Master of Computer Programs department. [1] It is connected to the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum. The undergraduate courses are awarded academic autonomy from the university. The faculty has business collaborations and Memorandums of Understanding (MoU)therefore by universities and companies. The faculty has tied up with universities in India, the USA, Germany, South Korea and Singapore.
In 2007, RVCE signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IT firm Cognizant Technology Solutions to fortify industry-academia partnership. [15] In October 2009,'' Pace Embedded Systems started a Embedded Systems laboratory at RVCE to train the pupils in Digital Television and Embedded Systems.
The faculty provides placement on campus for the pupils.

Each of the technology departments and the faculty of architecture are licensed by the AICTE and the National Board of Accreditation.
Admission
Pupils are admitted to undergraduate classes based on the performance at Karnataka Common Entrance Test, or at the COMED-K test. Students can also be admitted via a management plan, which doesn't put merit requirements. There's a lateral entry scheme set up, by which pupils holding degree degrees can enter right to another year of research in technology. Pupils, upon training, get a Bachelor of Engineering degree.
Pupils are admitted to postgraduate courses based on the GATE test scores, in addition to in their Post Graduate Karnataka CET scores.
Course articles and Grading
