need help - hard disk problem

i have one sony 1 TB external hard disk, which is not booting. it shows Mother Boot Failure. can some one pls suggest how to get out of it.

try once with zero sector repair software and try to check in 2/3 computers before going further

get this.

insert the HDD , connect it to another laptop.

you will see your drive partitions and the files.

Copy all the files .

Later format it , use the Hdd as new one.
