Too much of expectation is what makes the readers bug the author to post regular updates.
I guess you spend 3-4 hours for an update and hardly get a hour daily. Posting an update every three days itself is a difficult thing to do. Therefore, you can inform the readers that you will post an update every Friday.
Let that be fairly big one from one or more protagonists point of view.
The readers will not come daily and look out for updates and get disappointed or torturing for update.
Hope this makes sense.
