Nice characterisation of the lead character. The reason for her behaviour is established in that the experience that moulded her on men at an impressionable age was the actions of her father. She is basically not a bad person but rather adamant that what she does is always right. It needed an incidence such as forcible molestation to jolt her to realities about her behaviour. It has also made her appreciate how lucky she is to get the husband that she has now.
