I joined a college at a distance of about 40 kms from our house . I used to travel by bus as time passed I found that one clerk staff of college , Vinay , trying to be friendly with me. Initially I ignored him but then I got interested . I enquired about him.. he was married and my colleagues said that his wife is very beautiful but ,
“Vinay is so handsome and sexy…’ she said
I felt proud that a most handsome man of college is after me. But I did not give him any opportunity even to touch me. Over two years passed and unknowingly I became very friendly with driver and conductor of bus on which I was travelling . Somehow that buss suited my timing . In two years time, third set of driver and conductor came and I became more friendly with them also. Both while going to college and coming, conductor began to sit beside me on seat just beside bonnet and I joined talk of driver and conductor. Though, we, me and conductor sat side by side for over six months with our thighs touching each other he never put hand on my thighs or made any indecent comment.
And one evening while getting down I told them that from tomorrow I am on maternity leave and if God keeps everything ok,, I will join duty after 6 months. Both wished me good luck. I delivered a baby within 15 days . it is a girl and normal delivery. My mother stayed with us for most of time and arranged a full time maid , sneha a widow of about 25 yrs of age. Thanks , we and baby liked sneha very much.
After about 7 month of delivery I joined duty and travelled by same bus. I felt very happy to see same set of driver and conductor. I gave them sweet boxes which I specially brought for them . They also seemed very happy to see me back . All congratulated me , I distributed sweets , shown them pics of my baby and in evening waited for bus. But Vinay came and requested me to travel with him on his motor bike. His house is just across one corner away from my house, hardly at 10 minutes distance .
“meena , you are not in a condition to travel in a bus on this jerky road. ”
Other colleagues also supported him and I travelled with him for first time. I reached home at least 20 minutes early. And next day onward I became a pillion driver of most handsome man atleast in the college. We all knew that many high college girls are trying to seduce him but he was not giving lift to any one. And how dry wood ( Vinay ) and fire ( me) can remain unattached for long.
On 4th day while returning back from college I told him to stop at a road side tea stall. Many time bus conductor had brought hot snacks and tea from this shop. We also had . He wanted to pay but I told him that if he pays today or any other day I will stop travelling with him. We moved again and for some obstacle he braked hard . I had to put my hand on his shoulder to balance myself . I let my hand for few minutes on his shoulder and pulled it back.
He got encouraged with this . Next morning he took my hand bag and kept it in side dicky with his tiffin box. I did not show my smile to him. On way to college he said loudly ..
