That's a good point...I didn't consider that (because of my obvious biases). The fact that he is not stating his like/dislike of humiliation does beg further questions. However, we don't really know whether he is acting or not. What is clear though, is that he does want his wife to enjoy what he felt he wasn't providing....at the same time fulfilling his fantasy of watching his wife with another man.

This story may be one of those rare cases I have read where despite all the traditional dislike aspects like humiliation, the couple actually accept and continue such a relationship....it is a mental condition, I guess. With those situations, either it becomes permanent or one or both parties wake up to the unintended consequences and abandon the whole thing.

So far, the way the wife just plunges into the affair with the older guy and the brother in law, with all her conditions (and the hidden conditions with the older man) implies that there was already something going on. And why not, her husband wasn't satisfying her and she must have had her own fantasies. Perhaps she had already been flirting with the older guy, they know him well and hubby never put two and two together. But why the older guy who also had his conditions, etc? The most diabolical one was the one where he wants her to have his own baby.....and she is taking her time.....I guess to string him along so that she doesn't lose her own fantasy. In reality, things typically do not go your way. So her request to take time to consider his preposterous condition only makes the old man feel that it will all go his way. To say that she will string him along for a couple of years only makes things more complicated as a long term commitment is implied. Why not just let him know that she loves her husband, has a child, etc. and all she wants is some hanky panky??

Also, the fact that she is willing to go along with the old man in humiliating the hubby in his own house (old man wants to be master) is an indication that her love for her husband takes second place to the old man's wishes. It doesn't matter how you explain it, e.g. that this is part of being a cuckold, you'll enjoy it, etc., this alone is unbearable pain and betrayal.

In my opinion, hubby is not rejecting the humiliation because he knows his own shortcomings and his deep love for his wife is conditioning him to accept her lies, pain and betrayals. He is mentally weak in the first place to even allow all this. His weakness is demonstrated time and again by his love for his wife...he cannot bear to hurt her now, he cannot satisfy her, so he feels he cannot deny her cunning reasons and actions to continue as she wants. If it wasn't for his lack of performance, I'm sure he would speak up. He knows he is at a disadvantage. At some point, a man has to act. If he doesn't, he will have to accept what he is given.
