One afternoon that week, Dinesh wanted to share this disappointment lingering in his mind with his sisters-in-law.

On an afternoon when both sisters-in-law were alone at home, the three of them connected on a WhatsApp call.

Without hiding anything, Dinesh told both his sisters-in-law in complete detail about everything that had happened—from going to Anvi's cousin's house to how disappointed he felt finding out that Anvi was not a virgin.

Hearing what he said, Sandhya and Divya on the other end burst out laughing!

"Why are you laughing, Anni? I'm telling you this with so much sadness!" Dinesh said.

Laughing, Sandhya asked, "Then what else are we supposed to do if not laugh, da? Right now, neither of you is a virgin, right? Then why are you finding fault with her alone?"

Immediately, Dinesh said, "Anni... for the two of you, I was a virgin at first, wasn't I! Similarly, tell me what is wrong in me expecting to get a virgin girl too? Not only that... if the two of you hadn't happened to me beforehand, and if I had gone in trusting only Anvi... the disappointment I would have faced with her that day would have been on a whole other level! If it gets selected, you can tell Mama and Athai at home that it's for a college symposium, and happily come visit Chennai and Hyderabad to see us too, right!"

Hearing this, Dinesh's face lit up like a thousand-watt bulb!

"Wow... awesome idea, Anni! You are always a genius! Today itself, I'll search for which colleges are holding symposiums and immediately start the work to submit a paper!" he said, practically jumping with excitement.

Divya, too, was yearning for Dinesh to come to Chennai soon. So Divya urged him to make the arrangements for it actively. Once Dinesh assured them he would, the three of them ended the call.
