Adultery My Friend Wants My Mother

[saka1981]

Honestly, it’s hard to understand how a story that started this well could be brought to such a disappointing ending.

Up until Madhu’s fight with Vinay and her relationship with Gowtham, the story was moving really well. But after that, the story started flying in every possible direction like a kite caught in the wind. And by the time it reached the climax, it felt like the kite itself had been torn into pieces.

The biggest problem is that almost every character has been reduced to a dummy because of the way the author handled the story.

Rajesh, Madhu’s husband, comes and goes whenever the story needs him. Vinay, Madhu’s son, was actually one of the more interesting characters initially. He tried to stop his mother from going down the wrong path. But once Madhu told him that she had changed, he simply believed her and went back to focusing on his own life.

Then we have Laxmi and Padma, who have basically become nothing more than Gowtham’s sex partners. And Madhu and Gowtham are supposed to be the two main characters. But apart from having sex, what meaningful role did they actually play in the story?

Gowtham leaves Madhu as soon as another woman enters his life. Madhu simply accepts everything as fate and goes back to living with her husband and son.

Seriously, after reading this ending, I’m left wondering one thing: **Why was this story even written?**

The most frustrating part is that there was actually a much better story waiting to be written here. The game between Vinay, Madhu and Gowtham could have been written really well. The conflicts, emotional manipulation, Vinay’s struggle, Madhu’s choices and Gowtham’s intentions — all of these could have created a strong climax.

Instead, all that potential was wasted. Why even give this story the title **“My Friend Wants My Mother”**? You could have simply called it **“A Young Man and an Aunty”** instead.

Author, after seeing the way this story has ended, I’m honestly worried about the other story you are currently writing too. I just hope that story doesn’t meet the same fate and end with another climax that leaves readers wondering, **“Was this really the best ending you could come up with?”**
