Adultery My Friend Wants My Mother

Where's fun in that, If Vinay is supposed to compromise and adapt to their affair then what's the point of this story so far...he could have done that long time back. He clearly mentioned in last chapter he doesn't what he would do if he sees Gautham again...means he is losing it the moment he saw Gautham in his home, Imagine how he would feel once he sees the videos. I do not think he would compromise but if that will happen then its fine. Author's version should be respected.

In family life, there is no such thing as a "final word." Sons often make compromises—even on the most difficult matters—to keep family bonds intact; that is simply the reality of life. Those who come from broken families understand all too well what happens when a family falls apart.

In the hope of receiving a mother’s love until the very end of their lives, sons often compromise by yielding to even the unreasonable demands of their mothers. For a son, a mother holds the highest place, and it is precisely this deep emotional bond—or vulnerability—that often leads him to accept her irrational requests.

Several profound psychological and social factors underlie such compromises:

1. The fear of losing a mother’s love: Sons often view a mother’s love and blessings as one of the greatest sources of emotional strength in their lives. Many harbor a fear that by disobeying her or acting against her wishes, they might be deprived of that very love.

2. Misplaced sense of respect and gratitude: Sons often feel a psychological pressure to "repay" the hardships and sacrifices their mothers endured to raise them. Consequently, they may perceive even a mother’s unjust behavior as her "right," leading them to compromise.

3. During illness or crisis: When a son falls ill or faces danger, a mother is the first to step forward. She will exhaust all her resources—everything she possesses—to ensure her son’s recovery or safety, never once pausing to consider her own future.

Ultimately, the blood tie between a mother and her son cannot be severed; one may harbor temporary resentment, but in the end, one must return to the mother.
