Whether he will let his father know or not, but right solution is to probably commit suicide (He knows even Ananya would hate him and distance herself from him if she knew what he has started), that way he would ban her mother to eternal pain and grief that would make her leave Gautham forever and at the same time take punishment for his sin. 

That would be the right punishment for Madhu, son taking revenge on her by killing himself, and we know its Madhu who truly killed him and probably she will punish Gautham. That would be apt in my opinion...lets see what Author wants for his characters.
