I’m not saying that Azad and Anjali having sex is wrong. They could have done it privately, in a hotel or somewhere else. But why does Anjali need to have this kind of sex in front of Sunny, treating him like a slave and sending him out while he is still wearing the clothes he has on? Why does she need this kind of lust when Sunny is right there?

Most readers believe that it was the right decision for Sunny's mother, Anjali, to bring the landlord, Mr. Azad, into her own flat; Sunny, too, has mentally accepted the relationship between his mother and Mr. Azad. However, Sunny prefers to observe the situation secretly; because his mother asked him to close the door to his room, he was deprived of the chance to watch casually, and this has left him feeling upset.
