In the story "My Friend Wants My Mother," author Lousy1995 has rendered Binoy largely passive in "Chapter 14: The Jealousy." Binoy no longer plays an active role, a shift that has disappointed many readers. Readers view Binoy as a central character and want to see him successfully establish full control over his mother, Madhu. Gautam is a promiscuous man involved with Mrs. Padma, Mrs. Lakshmi, and numerous other beautiful women; such men rarely change their ways. Madhu is an educated, modern woman, and readers find it unacceptable that she would destroy her long-standing family life for a lecherous, unprincipled man like Gautam. Maternal bonds ultimately triumph in this world, and readers believe that, in the end, Madhu will value Binoy's opinion. Reading "Chapter 14: The Jealousy" was truly heartbreaking for me. I am a fan of Lousy1995, and I hope my comments are received with indulgence.
