Madhu thinks Vinay betrayed her, but honestly, I’m not fully convinced that this is betrayal. If someone comes and says, “I can seduce your mother,” naturally, Vinay might say, “If you think you can, then go ahead.” He even told Madhu that what she was doing was wrong, right?

At the same time, I can understand why Madhu may feel hurt by Vinay’s reaction. But looking at the whole situation, Madhu is the one who seems to have developed such a strong desire for Gowtham that she is losing sight of her husband and even her son. So I feel this is more complicated than simply saying Vinay betrayed Madhu.
