Author's Announcement:
Hello guys,
First — congratulations. We crossed 1 lakh views. Thank you for staying with this story for that long.
I’ve been reading the comments and the Telegram DMs. Don’t think I’m ignoring you. The praise, the suggestions, and the criticism are all useful. I take them seriously.
A quick reminder of what this is. The story is Sunny’s journal. Some days will have nothing sexual in them. Some days exist only as buildup. Wednesday and Thursday were those days. Sunny also has an office, and that office has its own people. If I kept only Azad, Sunny, and Ma on the page, it would go stale. The other characters and dynamics are part of the life I’m trying to write.
I’m writing this as a daily soap, not a two-hour film. The story is already past 170k words — longer than most full novels — and there still hasn’t been a full sex scene between Ma and Azad. You’re still here. That loyalty means more to me than a few long spicy chapters would.
On repetition: point taken. I’ll trim it so it doesn’t start to feel like the same beat on loop.
On the slow burn: I know it’s extreme. That is deliberate. The title itself says slow burn and long term. I want this to feel different from most smut — like you are living inside Sunny’s days, not skipping to the next scene. Every person and detail is there for that reason, or at least I try to make it so. If enough of you still want the intimate scenes to arrive faster, I can do that. I’m just not convinced it would serve this particular story.
Now, Chapter 29 on Friday. This one should pay off the buildup. Don’t expect spice in the opening stretch. It will take its time. It’s an important chapter and may nudge the story’s direction a little from here on.
I’m planning to write it long — in the range of celebration Night or Wednesday, easily 15–20k words. Tell me what you actually want:
- the full long version, or
- a shorter cut, with a few scenes trimmed.
I prefer the longer one, because that’s where this story usually breathes. But I’ll follow what you ask for.
Thanks again for reading this far and for staying connected.
