No matter what she says, the son simply listens to her. Why doesn’t he ever get angry with his mother? She said she would come at 7:30, but she came at 11:30. When she says, ‘That’s why I came,’ the son just listens, nods his head, and keeps quiet. Doesn’t the son have any self-respect here? Or, author, do you see the son as someone who has no self-respect at all?
