Misc. Erotica The unexpected path

When Meera reached the farmhouse, the atmosphere was tense. Security had been significantly beefed up. Vikram and Shankar were both present, looking shaken.

Vikram was in shock as he spoke.
“I was just talking to my contacts on the ground in Zabazsi, and the real story is so much worse. My contacts in Zabazsi told me Tau’s sudden paranoia about Kazi and Lerato having an affair is what actually triggered the brawl that got them both killed.
It makes no sense because Kazi had zero interest in women and loved only the military, while Lerato was completely loyal to Tau despite pushing him to stop his illegal deals.
Tau kept yelling that "she" told him about the affair, nobody knows who "she" is, which honestly makes me wonder if Lerato engineered this whole deadly coup to grab power. Now both brothers are dead, and our supply lines and business permits are totally frozen in the middle of this royal disaster.”

Meera nodded, agreeing with the possibility, keeping her expression neutral.
She asked carefully, “How does this change our plans now?”
Vikram sighed.
“We need to plan on that.”

Meera, sensing the tension in the room, spoke up with confidence.
“Guys, I feel we should not cancel tomorrow’s delivery. We don’t know when we will get the next shipment from Zambasi until we understand what happened there. Whatever happened seems to be their internal issue. The shipment is already in transit, so we move as planned. We can plan to establish our relationship with Zambasi after that.”

Vikram nodded, impressed.
“Well said, Meera. I was also thinking the same. This may be our last shipment from Zambasi. I don’t think Lerato will agree to any of our terms.”

He continued, “What we need next is to ensure our well-wishers that everything is okay.”
Shankar suggested, “Let’s plan a meeting with them tomorrow.”

Meera countered gently but firmly, “But tomorrow we have the shipment, right? It’s better we have fewer distractions.”
Vikram agreed immediately.

“You are absolutely right, Meera. Let’s call all our associates for a party the day after tomorrow. We need everyone here so we can give them personal assurance. ”

He turned to Shankar.
“Shankar, make sure everyone gets an invite for the day after tomorrow — today itself the invite should go. Also I want ypu to check on what happened in Zambasi, update your findings to Me and Meera. Make sure our plan will be smooth tomorrow.”
It was clear to everyone that Meera had risen quickly in influence. She now seemed to be second in command, even above Shankar in many decisions.
