Sathyavathi kept her arms around Muthu’s neck, her voice soft but clear.

“I am married, Muthu,” she said.
“I have children. I cannot leave the village and go to Chennai with you like that.”
Muthu’s grip on her ass tightened, disappointment and hunger both showing on his face. Before he could argue, she continued carefully.

“But… I can be your secret wife. You can come to the village whenever you want and enjoy me. No one else has to know. I will be only for you when you come.”
The offer landed exactly as she intended. Muthu’s expression shifted, the anger fading into fresh excitement and possession.
“Secret wife…” he repeated, tasting the words.
“You will wait for me in the village? Let me fuck you whenever I come?”
“Yes,” Sathyavathi answered, still stroking the back of his neck.
“But before that, I want those drunkards to see you with me. If we go inside the cave and stand at the edge, they will see that I am with you. Then they will never bother me again. Come with me. Let them understand you are the one who has me.”
Muthu’s eyes darkened with both lust and pride.
“Alright,” he said.
“We will show them.”

In one strong motion he slid one arm under her knees and the other around her back, lifting her cleanly into a cradle carry. Sathyavathi wrapped her arms around his neck and rested against his shirtless chest as if she belonged there. Without another word he turned and began carrying her down the slope, away from the ambulance and into the deeper forest path that led toward the caves.

I waited only a few seconds, then followed them quietly, staying far enough behind that the soft sound of my steps would not reach him. Malliga and Balu remained near the path for the moment. Ahead of me, Muthu carried Sathyavathi through the trees, her yellow saree shifting with each of his strides, the plan now moving them steadily toward the dark mouth of the first cave and the cliff that waited inside.
