Maaran does have a wife and children, and his actions are not meant to be shown as right or ideal. 

In this story he is written as a man driven by strong hunger and obsession, even while remaining tied to his family life.


Aadhini is also written with the same complexity. She is married, she feels guilt, and she still continues. 

Her mind keeps returning to him even when she knows it is wrong. That conflict between her settled life and the hunger he awakens is a central part of her character.
As for Maaran’s wife, at this stage she does not fully know the other side of him. That tension is part of the story.

This is pure erotic fiction written for the heat and the drama, not as a moral example. Characters here make flawed and intense choices. 

That is the space we are exploring.
