The house was in a deep sleep. But on that first floor alone, preparations for a ritual of lust were happening in secret.
Sandhya slowly stepped out of her room and gently knocked on Divya's door. "Akka... it's me, Sandhya."
Divya's voice was heard from inside. "One minute, Sandhya, I'm in the bathroom."
In a few seconds, the door opened. Divya stood there with just a towel wrapped around her body. Since she had been bathing, there were water droplets all over her body. Knowing it was only Sandhya standing outside, she had felt bold enough to come out just like that.
Sandhya came inside and bolted the door. In her hands, she carried clothes to change into and some makeup items.
Sandhya's eyes measured Divya's body from top to bottom. "Did you wake up very early, Akka? What a body you have! It's just that I'm straight. If I had been bi, I would have thrown you right on the bed and..." she trailed off without finishing the sentence.
Divya playfully hit her shoulder in shyness.
"Alright, alright, you go finish your bath and come, Akka. Once you're done, I'll take a bath. If I bathe in the outside bathroom and Dinesh wakes up, it'll get late," Sandhya said.
After Divya finished her bath, Sandhya took a shower and came out.
Divya wore that elegant blue saree and the matching blouse that Sandhya had picked out for her the previous night, and was sitting in front of the mirror, putting on her makeup.
Shortly after, Sandhya put on the red choli and long green skirt she had brought with her.
Dressed in traditional attire, both of them looked absolutely stunning.
Divya asked, "Where are we going now, Sandhya? To which temple?"
Sandhya smiled and came close to Divya. "We are going to a blissful paradise, Akka. But, without even stepping out of this room."
When Divya understood the meaning of her words, her cheeks turned red.
They helped each other and got dressed up perfectly. If they had walked into a wedding hall at this hour, in this attire, everyone's eyes would have been fixed solely on these two.
After both were ready, Sandhya called Dinesh.
"What is it, are you ready?" she asked.
"Give me five minutes, Anni," he said.
"Alright, you come straight to Akka's room. When you come, turn off all the veranda lights outside," Sandhya said.
"Okay, Anni," he replied.
Five minutes later, Dinesh came out wearing dark pants and a white shirt. Turning off the veranda lights, he gently knocked on Divya Anni's room door.
The door opened.
Inside, two goddesses stood together.
In a blue saree, with jasmine flowers in her hair and kohl lining her eyes, Divya Anni looked like a full moon.
In a red choli and green skirt, with a chain shining around her waist like a hip belt, and jhumkas swaying in her ears, Sandhya Anni looked like a goddess of lust.
Seeing both those beauties together in the glow of the room's light, Dinesh forgot to breathe for a moment and stood completely speechless.
