Sam was simply the correct instrument, Her intention doesn't seem either friendship as she stated nor invoking jealousy in her husband, neither it is an affair...so what was she looking for in this game?

She's still keeping one option open in case she slips, her own box under the bed confirms that but why go through so much risk after all these years....there seems to be some hidden agenda rather than simple friendship, testing loyalty or stirring her marriage for passion...none of them seem to be the reasons though shown them as intentions outside. There's a goal bigger here than either "fix the passion in marriage" or "want Sam"..what happens when Sam enters the game understanding her experiment...he is obviously already doubting her intentions all these two weeks, he won't be the one who will just be used as trash for her own experiment.

Perhaps that's why Jeeva didn't want Sam around. Did Tara's desire for Sam become so intense after the elevator incident that it blinded her to everything else?
