One of this author's greatest strengths is that just when we become convinced that a particular person is the culprit, the very next chapter proves us wrong. That's why, This time, I'll try to understand the characterization.(You are an expert at this.) I'm not going to speculate about what will happen next. I'll simply ask why the events in the latest chapter unfolded the way they did.
Tara seems too complicated to even understand her at least as of now...I only explained or tried to understand her from one perspective but there are layers here that are contradictory or at least need further clarity in future chapters or more anxiousness from husband to investigate and find out the truth....remember the truth changes everything is story name...
1. In first chapter, its clearly a love bite..her husband should know easily...Insect bite on breasts? very rare and not easy...instead of settling the matter with proper dialogue she changes topic towards his diary and Ramya...
2. I think in one of the chapters..Jeeva clearly accuses of her wanting Sam and this game is a means to get it with out guilt, any woman gets angry at it and would have made a big scene...here she simply drops a liner that "Looks like you don't trust me" but she doesn't drop the idea of this experiment? why? Wouldn't her husband doubting her right even before the game started make her drop the whole plan? Isn't it already giving bad vibes? so why is she still pushing for Sam?
3. Also I think in the same chapter Jeeva opens says "so you like to get fucked by him" its a critical time to choose a partner, She, in the beginning calms Jeeva's nerves by saying the partner choice is opposite person's so Jeeva get to choose her partner but the yardstick she chose is in such a way that Sam measures on top on the list...one who is pursuing her the most and will seduce her easily is the yardstick? why such criteria?
The one criteria that decides everything is her own invention: highest capability to seduce, highest real test and when the list is being narrowed, that's when she reveals Sam pressing her tightly in lift and how she could feel everything at that moment and how she avoided him since then...what if she avoided but couldn't stop thinking about that lift scene? That means, the criteria and the man who fits well into the criteria is chosen carefully as the yardstick. why?
4. In recordings - Sam mentioned he would come right away and in a respectable way...Karthik asks for a date in beach...so who is the real test here? Karthik is the one who is more eager to take her to bed but she is interested in Sam...why? My earlier comment reveals one reason it could be where she might not feel safe with Karthik, true but why didn't she reveal that to Jeeva that Karthik cannot maintain secrecy as you can see background check reveals but that background check came a day later...so there should be some other reason..she wants Sam here...its clear, whether the reason is noble or not we will find out soon...
5. Jeeva questions her..."Are you tempted by someone" ...she replies saying "I want a friendship... our life is mundane, can't you see that" if all she wants is new friendship then isn't Arun or Nikhil best choice? then why the experiment? This wanting friendship contradicts the bringing out the jealousy from her husband theory..
So you see we are still way early in the story to be able to even gauge her character or any other plot signs.
