The bus came on time; all three of them boarded. It's a sleeper cum-seater bus. The right-side top row is a 2-bed sleeper, and the bottom row is a 2-seater. On the left side, both top and bottom are sleepers. Sharmitha booked SRO seats only because she wanted to save money. Sharmitha took the window seat, and Nila took the aisle seat. Rajesh sat in the window seat as per their booking.
The bus was fully packed, and no seats were free. Complementary snacks and a water bottle were served, and the conductor instructed that the bus will not stop for the next 4 hours; if someone needs to use the restroom, now is the right time.
Sharmitha asked my wife to accompany her to the restroom. When they both got up, Rajesh also joined in, saying that he needed to change into his shorts and tees because his jeans and shirt were pretty uncomfortable for the travel.
All three of them walked towards the restroom. While my wife was waiting outside, Sharmitha and Rajesh went to their respective restrooms. Rajesh came first wearing a sleeveless white t-shirt and blue shorts. After a few minutes, Sharmitha came from the restroom.
When she came back, she noticed something in Rajesh and let out a muffled laugh. Noticing this, my wife asked what happened. Sharmitha tried to brush it off like it was nothing. But Rajesh pulled his boxer from his shorts pocket and showed it to my wife and told her she is laughing at me because I removed my boxers too. My wife blushed. He added it's my habit not to wear anything at night because I can't sleep wearing boxers at night.
Seeing this, Sharmitha slapped his arm and told him to shut up. My wife smiled and said it's too many details and she doesn't want to hear more. All returned to the bus. And the bus started at its scheduled time. And the conductor distributed blankets to the passengers.
