My prediction is that Mithra will completely change the dynamics of the story.
Maybe she'll confront Nikitha, physically attack her, or try to break her emotionally. She could even become the antagonist by trying to ruin Nikitha's reputation. If that happens, I can see both Tharun and Jay standing together to protect Nikitha and restore her name.
But even then... who will Nikitha end up with?
I genuinely can't pick one. In fact, I'm struggling more than Nikitha herself.
Both Jay and Tharun have been incredibly good to her. Both have made sacrifices for her. Both have treasured her in their own ways. Both have made mistakes. And most importantly, both have loved her sincerely.
That's what makes this story so difficult to predict. Even at this stage, I honestly have no idea who Nikitha will choose, and that's one of the biggest strengths of the writing.
