Adultery A Husband and Wife’s Playful Texts Turn Into a Complicated Affair

I'm fine with this.. She showed that she was not hurt, truly she was not.. She had seen Jay in an affair with Anjali, though he said it is to protect their truth. But
Deep down, however, a quieter, more painful thought crossed her mind.

Maybe Jay never really wanted this marriage, I got him into this mess. He is just living his life and she doesn't want to bother with his choices.

Why is it painful thought for her? Deep down she wanted that marriage to work, she never expressed it and that lack of communication we all agree but we have to agree that Nikita was the first one to subconsciously wanted that marriage to work...when it was not, In her mind she was already zoned out of it by the time Tharun came along, so kissing him was though cheating her mind she allowed it due to lack of thrill, love in her marriage. 

They had agreed to try and make it work, but there had never been any real love. No butterflies. No extraordinary feelings. It had always been survival, comfort, and sex. Hot, satisfying sex… but nothing deeper.

You can see how she feels about it, Jay never made it like he wanted that marriage too, his actions never reflected it, you should think and tell me, Had Jay made a move would Nikita at that time wouldn't respond? She was literally jumping in her seat every 5 mins, looking at Jay and Anjali...

Why do we even need to do this analysis, they both lack communication, they both didn't take any first step, on top Jay's actions were against marriage..whatever the reason he picked Anjali for affair to protect secret, did he discuss with Nikita?  When he made a deal with Tharun, he came and told her, but when he is taking such a big step with Anjali, I do not think he thought of talking to Nikita, only after affair started, she slapped him then he gave explanation on why he did it.....you can clearly interpret this as he doesn't think it is as necessary to discuss with her as he didn't think her as his wife..

Affair started much much before the storage room incident when Tharun arrived. Atleast that was my interpretation as far as I remember. She slapped him not for the affair but the brazen display infront of the new manager Tharun. 

Yeah i wrote in one of my earlier comments that "we have to stay together for 6 more years"  comment from Nikitha made Jay do all this. Making him believe she is not interested . Please check that chapter.
