It's amazing how clear everything becomes when you go back to the very first page after reading sixty-odd pages. It feels like this was always meant to happen. Even so, I'm still waiting for one final twist because I can't bring myself to accept all the accusations against Jay.

Nikkitha has always been Nikkitha, and in a way, that's exactly the problem. She isn't as noble as the story seems to portray her. The title itself makes Jay look like a fool, while Tharun makes the most of the entire situation.

As for Nikkitha, I've completely lost hope in her. She can't communicate a single thought openly. She keeps everything to herself, has conversations in her own head, and makes decisions before ever confronting the people involved. That lack of communication is frustrating because so much of the conflict could have been avoided.

By the end, all I wanted was for Jay to get a second chance with the person he truly loves. Instead, Nikkitha seems to be living the best phase of her life, while Jay is left carrying the consequences. That's the part I find hardest to accept. 

Don't argue that Jay has moved on, and I thought his everything died when he witnnessed her wife getting into with tharun in his own house. 

Also don't bring Anjali into, we know what she is.

I mean who accused Jay? I believe he has done more than Nikitha in communicating or clarifying things (pls refer my earlier comment). She is the one who didn't acknowledge or clarify Jay when things changed. 

where did she acknowledge her love for Jay or Jay's love for her until she committed to Tharun? 

There are only 3 places she acknowledges her love for Jay in the 135 chapters so far.

1. After the first date with Tharun, In discussion with Jay she says she loved him once but not anymore. Jay counters that he will prove she still loves him. She challenges Jay to prove.
 
2. After the accident, when she confesses to Tharun that she loved Jay but never felt loved by him. Did she ever communicate that to Jay when she felt love towards Jay? No. Because she believed its a contract marriage and they are free to explore other partners. 

3. On the farewell night, after confirming that Jay has moved on and what she says is not for patching things up, she reveals she loved Jay and realises Jay's love for her but its too late.

If you ignore her actions but look at what she communicated to Jay we will never see her expressing her love for Jay. But that's not possible, no. Her every action centered around Jay even when being with Tharun. I mean the only inference can be as RCF pointed out she never acknowledged or accepted her love for Jay. So all her thoughts are this is a contract that I have to honor because he saved me, protected me, made me independent and self reliant. Built a life with me with out his family. She was thrown out by her family because of her step mother issues. He was thrown out because of her. and why do they have to stay married after being independent? because of the need to prove themselves in front of jay's family which is Nikita's doing.  If she hasn't challenged his uncle, there was no need to take a home loan, no need for Nikita to join Jay's company (which prohibits couple :)), no need to hide their relation from the world.

I mean Nikita might feel unloved because of lack of Jay's gestures. In one of the earlier chapters, Jay mentions some colleague seeing them together or something which pushes them to be secretive even outside. Otherwise why take a 2-story villa with internal/external stairs when they never invited colleagues. Also, its surprising that their friends in Bangalore who hosted them for about a month or so never visited them. I mean i can keep writing but you get the point that Nikitha is majorly responsible. It all started because of her challenge and because of her responses to Jay on love, paying loan, Jealousy questions.

So if you see all her actions as an obligation for whatever Jay did for her then it becomes much clear that she wanted to fulfill her obligations and get out of this contract marriage as soon as possible because she believed Jay did not love her and saw her only as a possession and equated her to Anjali. So that's why she made sure Jay is good in the company, in his village, cleared the loan with her Jewels and cash (not sure whether Jay paid back or not), cared for him. They had an agreement for 5 months to prove each other's love but when she realised Jay is hurting himself trying to prove his love, she couldn't see it and cleared the loan without even communicating to Jay. 

So all in all no one can accuse Jay as he was transparent, communicative and open in this whole saga
