My Prediction for the Ending
At this point, I think the story is ultimately heading toward Jay and Nikita reconciling.
Jay's affair was the first major mistake that shattered the marriage. Nikita's relationship with Tarun wasn't just an act of revenge—it showed that she had genuinely tried to move on and build a new future.
Jay witnessing Tarun and Nikita together felt like the emotional climax. It seemed like the moment he truly accepted that his marriage was over. He stopped chasing Nikita, accepted the divorce, and decided to move forward with his life.
Now, I think the remaining story will revolve around everyone realizing what they truly want.
Mithra's return could become a major turning point. If she sincerely wants to marry Tarun and consistently proves through her actions that she genuinely loves him, Tarun may slowly have a change of heart. At the same time, he may begin to notice that, despite all her efforts to move on, a part of Nikita still remains emotionally connected to Jay.
Rather than holding on to someone whose heart is divided, Tarun may decide to let Nikita go—not because he stopped loving her, but because he finally realizes he deserves someone who chooses him completely. Mithra, who never stopped believing in him, may become that person.
Meanwhile, Nikita may realize that even after divorce, even after trying to build a life with Tarun, Jay was never truly erased from her heart. It isn't guilt that brings her back—it is the realization that she still loves him.
Jay, on the other hand, won't be the one chasing her anymore. He has already accepted the consequences of his mistakes and learned from them. If they reunite, it will be because Nikita makes that choice herself.
So I think the ending could look like this:
- Jay and Nikita reconcile after both have grown and accepted responsibility for their choices.
- Tarun finds peace by accepting Mithra's sincere love and deciding to build a future with someone who chooses him without hesitation.
- Mithra's persistence and genuine affection become the reason Tarun opens his heart again.
- Everyone gets a second chance, but only after learning difficult lessons about love, trust, and letting go.
If this is the direction, then the ending won't simply be about who ends up with whom. It will be about each character finding the person who truly chooses them, wholeheartedly.
My original choice:
Personally, I would have preferred the story to end with the divorce, where Jay learns from his mistakes and moves forward while Nikita builds a life with Tarun. That felt like a natural consequence of everyone's choices.
I change this ending, because of Mithra's entry.
But if reconciliation is the destination, then the success of the ending will depend entirely on whether the author can convincingly show why Nikita chooses Jay again after everything that has happened. Without that emotional groundwork, the ending may feel more like a reversal or a U-Turn than a resolution.
