I'm not saying I dislike the direction you've taken. In fact, I think the chapter where Jay accidentally witnesses Tarun and Nikita together was the emotional climax of the story.
At that moment, Jay finally understood the reality. He accepted that Nikita had truly moved on. Earlier, there were moments that made me think she still had unresolved feelings for Jay, but after everything that happened that night, I felt she had consciously chosen Tarun and was ready to build a future with him.
Tarun also comes across as someone who genuinely sees Nikita as his future. He isn't playing games; he's taking responsibility for the relationship and treating her like the woman he wants to spend his life with.
As for Jay, I think he has finally learned his lesson. He has accepted the consequences of his mistakes, given the divorce papers, and realized that he cannot force someone to love him again.
That's why, for me, this feels like the natural ending of their emotional journey.
Whatever comes after this—whether Nikita goes back to Jay, Tarun leaves Nikita, Mitra returns, or there's another twist—feels more like post-climax drama than the core story. It may still be interesting, but emotionally, I already got my conclusion.
Earlier, I used to think Tarun should be the one to walk away because I believed Nikita still loved Jay. But after this chapter, I don't feel that anymore. I think Nikita has made her choice, and because of that, I don't want Tarun to suddenly give up now.
Instead, I'd like to see Jay move forward with his own life. Divorce doesn't mean life is over. Sometimes, the bravest ending is accepting the loss, learning from it, and finding happiness again. I genuinely believe Jay is capable of that, and I think it would be a fitting conclusion to his character arc.
Anticipating your next story to be in the same theme. How to lose your wife? Or The ways to lose your wife.![]()
You gave the sleepless night.

Lol gave up so easily?
What really changed? Nothing...They just had sex...so why would you think this is natural conclusion? If that was the case, when Nikita saw Jay with Anjali she should have packed bags and left Jay...slowly over time working in same work place she would have met Tharun and married him...Isn't it?
Point is they could walk away from each other, many situations might break their hearts..earlier it was for Nikita, now it is for Jay...when story didn't end back then why should it end now....In my opinion story should end when love ends...I don't think love ended...so story should continue....logical conclusion would be realization for all characters...If Nikita thought it is that simple to live far away from the person she loves and yet make a place for some one else in her heart then it is not that easy...her actions might seem practical, life can be practical but happiness won't come from being practical, it comes from doing things that pleases heart...things that genuinely touches their heart. So far she thinks she is the one who moved on but she didn't see if actually when Jay moves on, how would she feel....you will see now...so story is yet to be concluded for me...
