Relax dude, Authors usually know what they are writing most of the times because their plot is already set from the beginning like skeleton work ex, they know who will be the partners at the end already...what they work intermittently is screen play, situations, conversations and emotions. If this is interval, then it is expected because obviously Nikita made wrong choice as of now, whether she will correct it or make this choice from wrong to right and stick to Tharun will need to be seen...so how did you expect this story to finish in next 2 -3 chapters...

Just enjoy the story, your emotions should be on characters alone, also for every curve and twist in the story you react emotionally, its not needed, your expected way the story could bend later maybe after 20 chapters so patience is the key.
