My Wife – Part 11 (The Helpful Nephew)

Kavita’s Perspective
The next morning, I woke up feeling restless. Suraj’s sudden arrival had left me uneasy. Reddy’s nephew? It felt too convenient. Arun had left early for the office, kissing me quickly on the forehead and whispering, “Be nice to him. It’s only temporary.”

I was in the kitchen, wearing a simple yellow salwar-kameez, preparing breakfast when Suraj walked in. He was fresh from a workout — wearing a tight black tank top that clung to his broad, muscular chest and defined arms. At 6’1”, he towered over me. Sweat glistened on his skin, making him look even more imposing.

“Good morning, Bhabhi,” he said with that deep, confident voice and a charming smile. “Need any help?”
Before I could refuse, he was already beside me, taking the knife from my hand. “Let me chop these vegetables. You’ve been working since morning.”

I stepped back, watching his large, strong hands move efficiently. “You don’t have to, Suraj. You’re a guest.”
“Uncle Reddy specifically told me to take care of you in every possible way, make sure you have no issue” he replied casually, glancing at me with a knowing look. “He said you’re like family now. And family helps each other.”

My heart skipped a beat. The way he said “every possible way” felt loaded. I tried to ignore it.

Could Reddy might have say something to him... about us?

As I moved to the sink to wash dishes, Suraj came up behind me to place the chopped vegetables on the counter. His tall frame brushed against my back for a moment. I could feel the heat radiating from his body.

“Careful,” he murmured near my ear, his breath warm. “Don’t want you to slip. do we?”

I turned around quickly. He was standing too close, looking down at me with those intense eyes. he looked like he had weird fascination with me, just like Reddy.

“Reddy uncle speaks very highly of you, Kavita Bhabhi” Suraj continued while helping me arrange the breakfast table. “He told me you’re a very warm and caring woman. Someone who knows how to make a man feel… comfortable...at home.”

I felt my cheeks heat up. _Was he hinting at something? Or was I just being paranoid because of what happened with Reddy? _

Throughout the morning, Suraj kept finding excuses to stay around me. He helped me fold the laundry, reaching up to the high shelves I couldn’t easily access. Every time he stretched, his tank top rode up, revealing his sculpted abs. When I bent down to pick up a fallen cloth, I caught him staring openly at my ass, a small smirk on his face.

“You have a beautiful home, Bhabhi,” he said later while we were dusting the living room. “And you maintain it so well. Uncle Reddy was right — you’re someone who deserves to be taken care of properly. In every way.”

Again, that phrase. My mind flashed back to the train, to Reddy’s rough hands, his commanding presence. Suraj had the same dominant energy, but younger, fresher, and somehow even more dangerous.

Ohhh...Reddy.

just the memory of events with Reddy gave me shock in every part of my body. he was like a reminder to my other self who was buried under wife of Arun.

I tried to change the subject. “So… how is Reddy uncle doing?”

“He’s good. Busy as always,” Suraj replied, stepping closer to help me with a heavy flower vase. His hand deliberately brushed against mine as we lifted it together. “He mentioned you two had quite an… memorable journey together. Said I should make sure you never feel neglected while I’m here.”

My breath caught. I pulled my hand away quickly and griped tighter. “What exactly did he tell you?”

Suraj smiled innocently, but his eyes were anything but. “Just that you’re very special to him. And that I should treat you the way you deserve, making sure not causing any issue.”

I did not question further since I didn't want to open that door again, as it always fill me with wetness. He lingered near me as I worked in the kitchen again, offering to help roll rotis. Standing right next to me, he guided my hands once, his hard chest lightly pressing against my back.

“You’re tense, Bhabhi,” he whispered. “Relax. I’m here to help lighten your load.”

His voice was low, seductive. I could feel his breath on my neck. A shiver ran down my spine — part fear, part unwanted excitement.

By afternoon, I was constantly aware of his presence. Every casual touch, every double-meaning comment, every lingering glance was slowly getting under my skin. Suraj was charismatic, manipulative, and knew exactly how to push my buttons without being overt.

I should have create a boundary, but almost as if i could not. even though it would be proper things to do. let him be causal with me was not something i wanted yet, I could not. Was it due to him related to Reddy. have my body and mind permanently changed after encounter with him?

When I almost slipped while reaching for a spice jar on the top shelf, he caught me instantly by the waist, his strong arm wrapping around me firmly, pulling me back against his solid body. his grip was stronger than Arun or even Reddy's.

“Got you,” he said softly, not letting go immediately. His hand stayed possessively on my waist for a few extra seconds. “Can’t let anything happen to you. Uncle Reddy would kill me.”

I pulled away, heart racing, face flushed. “Thank you… I’m fine.”

Suraj just smiled that confident smile almost like predatory.

“Anytime, Bhabhi. I’m here for whatever you need.”

Arun’s Perspective (Evening)
I pushed open the front door, my tie already loosened and my briefcase feeling heavier than usual. The entire day at the office had been a blur of anxiety. Every notification on my phone made me flinch, half-expecting a message from Suraj with new demands or, worse, a video clip. The thought of him inside my house, alone with Kavita for the whole day, had been eating me alive.

As I stepped into the living room, the scene hit me like a punch to the gut.

Kavita was sitting on the sofa, looking slightly flushed, her yellow salwar-kameez slightly disheveled as if she’d been moving around a lot.

Suraj lounged comfortably right beside her — not on the other end, but close enough that his muscular arm rested along the back of the sofa, almost behind her shoulders. They were chatting casually, and Kavita actually let out a small laugh at something he said.

My stomach twisted.

“Arun, you’re back,” Kavita said, standing up a little too quickly. Her cheeks were pink, and she avoided holding my gaze for more than a second.

Suraj didn’t stand. He just gave me that same calm, predatory smile from yesterday. “Welcome home, Arun. Long day at the office?”

I forced a nod, my eyes darting between them. “Yeah… traffic was bad. What… what have you two been up to?”

I tried to keep my voice light, but it came out strained. I set my briefcase down and loosened my collar, buying time to study Kavita’s face. She looked restless, the same way she used to look after her encounters with Reddy — a mix of guilt and something else. Something heated.

“Oh, nothing much,” Kavita replied quickly, smoothing her kameez. “Suraj helped me in the kitchen this morning… and with some chores around the house. He’s been very… helpful.”

The way she said “helpful” sent a dark thrill through me despite the fear. I noticed a faint redness on her waist where her dupatta had slipped slightly — like the imprint of strong fingers.

Suraj chuckled, stretching his long legs. “Just trying to be useful, Bhabhi. Can’t sit idle when there’s work to be done. Your wife works so hard, Arun. You’re a lucky man.” His eyes met mine directly, the hidden meaning crystal clear. I know exactly how lucky you are.

I swallowed hard. “That’s… good. Thank you, Suraj.” The words tasted bitter. This man had blackmailed me into letting him stay here, and now he was playing the perfect guest while subtly marking his territory.

Mom and Ayushi were still out visiting relatives, so it was just the three of us. The silence that followed felt suffocating.

“I’ll go change,” I muttered, but instead of heading straight to the bedroom, I lingered. I needed to know. “Kavita, can you help me with something?”

She followed me into our room. The moment the door closed, I turned to her, searching her face.

“What were you two talking about?” I asked, trying not to sound accusatory but failing.

Kavita crossed her arms. “Just normal things. His work, Delhi weather, how Reddy is doing… He kept mentioning Reddy. Arun, are you sure he doesn’t know anything? The way he speaks… it feels like he’s hinting at something.”

My heart hammered. “He doesn’t know. I told you — it’s just a favor for Reddy.” The lie sat heavy in my chest. I stepped closer, placing my hands on her shoulders. “Did he… touch you or anything?”

"what are you implying Arun?" She hesitated for a split second — long enough for my imagination to run wild. “Well, he helped me when I almost slipped. Caught me before I fell. That’s all. He’s just very… forward. Like 'Reddy'.”

The image flashed in my mind: Suraj’s strong arms around my wife’s waist, pulling her against his tall, muscular body. I felt a familiar mix of jealousy, shame, and unwanted arousal stirring in my groin.

I pulled her closer, my hands sliding down to her ass. “Tell me the truth, Kavita. Did anything happen while I was gone?”

She pushed me back gently but firmly. "What has gotten into you. Why are asking these types of questions." Kavita got viable anger now. "It was you who bring him here remember."

I stayed quite. "Suraj don't...feel like threatening, if that what you ment. But… he makes me uncomfortable. The way he looks at me. The things he says about 'taking care of me in every way' because Reddy told him to." Her voice dropped. "I don’t like this arrangement. You need to find a way to make him leave soon."

Before I could respond, there was a knock on the door.

"Dinner is almost ready," Ayushi called from outside.

During dinner, the tension was unbearable. Suraj dominated the conversation effortlessly, sharing stories that made even Kavita listen attentively. Every time he addressed her as “Bhabhi,” it carried a possessive undertone that only I could detect. I kept watching them, trying to catch any secret glances or lingering touches.

Later that night, after Suraj went to the guest room, I confronted the reality in my own mind while lying beside Kavita. I had invited the wolf into our house out of fear of exposure. The blackmail hung over me like a sword — one wrong move and everything would crumble: my family’s reputation, Mom’s heart, Ayushi’s future.

Yet, even as fear gripped me, I couldn’t deny the twisted excitement building inside. Suraj was younger, stronger, and far more calculating than Reddy. And the way Kavita had flushed when talking about him…

I turned toward Kavita in the dark, my hand sliding under her nightie. She was already a little wet.

The game had only just begun, and I was already losing control.
