In last few chapters, Nikkitha has shown herself to be childish, stubborn, impetuous, uncommunicative  and selfish.
It appears she is not sure what she wants. She got friendly with Tharun who is in a relationship. She seems to think relationship with (unreliable ??) Tharun is solution to her apparent lack of love in her life.
Character without any root in reality looses charm. In my view, this is happening to Nikkitha character.
But then this is erotic story with stress on erotica.
As far Tharun is considered, he has not settled things with his partner (girlfriend) before getting hot and heavy with Nikkitha.
Both Nikkitha and Tharun have created relationship on weak foundation. Anything based on weak foundation will allways be shaky.
