It’s more interesting to explore how good people can still struggle, make mistakes, or react poorly when they’re pushed emotionally. That kind of conflict feels a lot more real than a simple good vs. bad setup.
I also get your point about Jay, he’s been carrying a lot and it’s affected how he comes across, especially in Nikita’s eyes. If Tharun goes through something similar, it could parallel Jay’s journey in a meaningful way rather than just creating a rivalry.
That said, I wouldn’t go as far as saying Nikita doesn’t deserve either of them. I think she’s still figuring things out, and while that confusion can hurt people around her, it also makes her human. Not everyone recognizes what they have right away, especially when emotions are complicated.
At the end of the day, I feel like the story works best if none of them are painted as completely right or wrong, just people trying (and sometimes failing like Sharmi) to handle difficult feelings.
I stick to my point, Human mistakes are what makes them see consequences, When I say she doesn't deserve either I mean it, because of her one will have to end up one side love and heart broken, at that point even though its human mistake, its unforgivable...she is the who encouraged Tharun over and over and let him touch her giving false hope, its not his mistake that Jay and Nikita were dumb enough to not able to resolve their feelings for each other...their lack of communication led to this situation, not Tharun's actions.
An innocent person ends up losing trust on love forever, will he be able to love anyone else in future... no right. So what makes you think she can choose who ever she wants and live happily and other guy suffers?
She always wanted Jay to move on, kept telling him that over and over, now that is what it needs to happen....people who made mistakes here are Jay and Nikita...consequences should be theirs as well. I was against Tharun until he got the slap, after that he changed and we could clearly see that, he also asked her if she accepts his love before making love, so his efforts, intent are sincere...what more do you want a guy to do?
Nikita will understand the true meaning of what Jay said about hurting hearts earlier.....Sharmi is another one, girl who asked you to unite people, are you social service? Whatg happens when one enters the game without knowing the rules? Who let her enter? Its Jay, after office entertainment, when trip began, she is the one who spoiled the bridge big time with her own dumbness and on top she is playing messiah before Jay when he slapped her, I know hitting woman is wrong but she earned it. Jay let her control the situation and she royally screwed it. Will she be able to bring them back together without hurting Tharun? No right, its inevitable that one gets hurt here for sure.
