True, the execution could have been stronger, but a reunion for Jay and Nikki still feels hard to justify now, especially after Jay’s affair with Anjali. If Nikki has already chosen Tharun and accepted that relationship, bringing her back would need a very careful build-up to make sense emotionally. I don't know man, All the stories I have always rooted for the lead couple to end up with each other, Heygi here made brilliant effort to convince me that its in best interest for this one to part ways. I do not feel the emotion anymore from esp Jay, we have read Nikita's side and we know how much she loves him, she made dumb choices but situations were also against in terms of Sharmi and Anjali...she herself never truly understood she loved Jay more than anybody until it was too late but she was dumb enough not to expect that same could be the way for Jay as well. 

As for Jay, he never acted on his love for her, even talk...that is something doesn't happen a lot in these kind of stories, Like I said before lot of liberties taken to set this union up for Nikita and Tharun so after this night if they consummate the sex then it would be totally unfair for Tharun as per me....bro did everything he could do to win her....Jay did nothing...that's the point which is critical.
