Navya looked at him gratefully.

Ajay sent a short message to Meera while they were still at the shop:
Ajay: Having food on the way. No need to prepare anything for me. Will be late.
He then took Navya to a small, quiet dhaba a few kilometers away from the shop. They sat in a corner booth where they wouldn’t be easily noticed. Navya was still in her male disguise — loose kurta, pajama, fake beard, and glasses. She looked convincingly like a tired young man.
Ajay ordered simple food — dal, rice, roti, and sabzi. As they ate, he observed the people around them carefully. No one paid any special attention to Navya. Navya smiled nervously and kept her head down, eating quietly.

After finishing their food, they got back on Ajay’s bike. Navya was exhausted from the stress and lack of proper sleep.
